Sorry, I didn't see in your initial message you were talking about the footnotes. That would require customisation and for Chicago that's not so easy. Let me work on that and come back to you. edit: This code adds this functionality for newspaper…

1. Open a new document, choose the correct citation style and tell us the exact name of the chosen style 2. Cite this one item 3. Tell us if it works or not
-
Don't necessarily go by the preview window. Insert it in your document and go by that. If it's shortened then it begs the question if you had already cited this item and that's why it just gives author and title. Checking metadata: In Zotero itsel…

See https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/99972/cell-in-text-citation-format-changed#latest Cell recently changed the formatting of all of their journals.

Chicago-17-note already prints that out like so: Foderaro, Lisa W. “Rooftop Greenhouse Will Boost City Farming.” New York Times. April 6, 2012. If you don't see that, please check your metadata.

Can you add the outstanding bits from this guide to the thread? Then I can make a custom style for the journal. Don't worry about the example citations. https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/blob/master/REQUESTING.md#requesting-csl-styl…

3) then this would look like it's entered wrongly in Zotero. Did you double check the metadata?
-
I must've looked at another journal. Thanks for double checking ;)

For which journal is this?

Für die FH Aachen habe ich einen Stil im Sortiment, für die Wirtschaftswissenschaften. Falls es eine andere Fakultät ist, einfach mir die Richtlinien schicken. Zitierstil FH Aachen – Wirtschaftswissenschaft

I've had a go at the style. Give it a test run: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/citation-style-language/styles/2713627c3c1079cc8ab8b60ecd63871b4e1a047b/scientific-online-letters-on-the-atmosphere.csl

In Zeile 185 umändern.

The style already has that built in, as you also see from previous comments on here.

- Zeile 163: auf et-al-min="4" et-al-use-first="1" ändern - Zeile 91: and="symbol" komplett entfernen und den delimiter auf "/" setzen

I've checked 6 papers. All of them have the above style. If the editors come back, just let us know here and then we'll have another look. :) I've made a dependent style for the above-mentioned APA6 version, so your colleagues have it easier findi…

Hi, The apa-no-doi-no-issue style produces this: Hisakata, R., Nishida, S., & Johnston, A. (2016). An adaptable metric shapes perceptual space. Current Biology, 26, 1911–1915. A sample journal has this: Balbi, M., Croci, S., Petit, E.J., But…

I have logged your request, but their guidelines do not match at all what they have in published papers which shows a classic numeric in-text style. In text: 1 (superscript) Bibliography: 1. J.L. Campbell and O.K. Pedersen, 'The Varieties of Capit…

What's wrong with the style on our repository? https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=id:aerospace-medicine-and-human-performance

Where is the "PIU" from? You can add "PIU; " as a prefix to the citation thought. See: https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_usage
-
You could try this style: https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=id:norsk-apa-manual-note&format=note Otherwise, you can use that style to adapt the normal APA7 to a note style. It's actually fairly easy.
-
I had a quick go at this. Can you try this style? https://raw.githubusercontent.com/citation-style-language/styles/1bb36c64d78603966587674d34cb9dbdf66e8369/harvard-stellenbosch-university.csl

That is currently not possible. How do you want the citation to look and what style are you currently using? Then we can help more specifically. Generally, I'd go with "Report" most likely though.
-
I just looked into this style in detail and it looks like it's just http://www.zotero.org/styles/apa-no-doi-no-issue If you find any differences, let us know and we can make a new style. Otherwise please confirm that style worked with this journal …
-
That is set in the document itself. In the Zotero tab under "Document Preferences". Certain citation styles are limited to one language only, but that would still be mostly English. See https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_usage
-
Thanks for clarifying.

There is a bunch of styles that have that programmed in. Try one of those: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/search?q=
