You need to set it under document preferences in your word processor.

You can switch to the old view using "Classic view" as explained in the article you linked to. You can also set in the Zotero settings to ALWAYS use the classic view if preferred.

You must've added a page to that citation. Place the cursor near the number and hit the "add/edit citation".

If you look at the article it also explains the reasons why it can happen. Wrong file format, track changes, opening in other word-processing softwares etc.
