You omit the author as explained here: https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_usage

Please don't post in other threads about the same issue if you already opened a thread and be patient. The same 5 people read everything here and with that you cause that we now have to read another thread and duplicate our work. https://www.zotero…

Don't delete items in your library, but MERGE them. That would've removed the duplicated item within your document after a refresh then. Now this stray item still lives in your document. Delete it wherever you cited it in the text and reinsert the …

Danke für deine Anfrage. Den Stil hab ich erstellt und ins Sortiment aufgenommen: Zitierstil Harvard Zitierweise nach Scribbr für Zotero

On this very site where you are reading this message, click on "Web Library" on the top left. Do you see your library there?

While it's not a plugin you download and install the website does indeed seem down. https://rintze.zelle.me/ref-extractor/

Not via Zotero itself as far as I know, but you could modify the citation style and remove anything author related or just put the brackets around the year. If you'd then would want to add an author's name in the bracket you'd be editing the citatio…

Yes, by editing the citation style. 1. We have more than 10,000 styles on the repository, so, likely, the journal of choice is already there: https://www.zotero.org/styles 2. If not, you can request a style following this guide: https://github.com/c…

Zotero, the software you're using. CSL, Citation Style Language, the system used for Citation styles that also is utilised by Zotero.

Super. Die Änderung machen dauert für mich keine 3min. Hast du also sofort, wenn du dich meldest. ;)

J." manuell eingegeben? Sehe da jetzt auch …

Also, instead of manually editing citations/bibliography, a given citation style can be changed or edited. Zotero+CSL is meant to reduce the work for you, not get you so frustrated that you just give up. ;) And the beautiful thing about Zotero is th…

The MAL does that: https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=id:mary-ann-liebert-vancouver&dependent=0

I am not sure why you would've seen "et al." before as "si colab." is just what the style does. But you can override that very easily by doing this. You can just copy this from one of the other overrides in the style and switch the locale to "ro" as…

In Zotero you can enter the "Editors", by adding a new "author" and then clicking on that to switch it over to "Editor". https://s3.amazonaws.com/zotero.org/images/forums/u452233/hwubnq6jivo9vaegbax7.png

First of all, don't stress. This will be very easy to fix. What citation style and what language do you have set for your document in the Zotero Document Preferences?
-
@weinersmith You can test this style out: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/raw/e2bd4987efebcbf74013738393ae3c97d4dda1f3/comparative-parasitology.csl

Paste the contents of the style to pastebin.com and share the link.

Use this with the Select in Zotero option. https://rintze.zelle.me/ref-extractor/

Ah, thanks! That's public now. :)

Have a look at these: https://www.zotero.org/styles?format=numeric&dependent=0

IEEE requires the style like that and it was a change introduced earlier this year. See here for an explanation. While we'll certainly have different numeric styles that will match what you're requesting, if you're required to use the IEEE then you…

Start with this: https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/existing_citations_not_detected

You can try this script: https://github.com/POBrien333/citation-tools/blob/main/tags-to-extra-field.js
-
We have many note styles available: https://www.zotero.org/styles?format=note&dependent=0 Setting the language in document preferences usually localises a given style. But not everything is 100%< hence my question from earlier.

Can you tell us what citation style, which language and also which so-called locators you're using? Concrete examples how there output Vs what they should be help.
