dstillman is the head developer of Zotero. More personalised support you cannot ask for. Step by step. I'm sure he'll suggest something to troubleshoot the issue further.

You'll want to use this style then: https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=id:springer-basic-brackets-no-et-al (PR to fix parent style: https://github.com/citation-style-language/journals/pull/151)

Can you take a screenshot of Word and Zotero side by side, that shows that entry in Zotero and how it appears? I'm also not fully sure what you mean by "using the magic want to create a reference". The magic wand is used to input a source into your…

@Juandev Please don't hijack other people's threads. Rita, that works for me just fine. For a subsequent citation I just get "1 Bell." Can you test this out in a fresh document?

Can you link to the current style guidelines and also to an open-access article, so we can check this?

Which citation style?

Sample link?

Can you take a screenshot from the entry in Zotero?

Our "Ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery" citation style is a dependent style on AMA. Our AMA style superscripts correctly and also has those et al. rules that you mention. Are you sure that you have the style selected in your document un…

What's the actual changes needed? Then we can expedite this request a lot easier.

Our JMIR style already includes the ISBN for books as I see now. Make sure you actually have ISBNs for your items. However, I've submitted a fix to also include the ISBN for book chapters as required. https://github.com/citation-style-language/style…

It works the other way round. A citation style will make title casing for you, if needed. (You can do the switch with a right click, if you didn't know) If you share a link to the guidelines and an open access paper I'll have a look later regarding…

Add " collapse="citation-number" to the line that starts with "citation".
-
Delete the citation and reinsert it. Make sure it says "My Library" when you select it.
-
You'd need to export your library from EndNote and import into Zotero. Note that you'd have to manually reinsert all the citations with Zotero. See: https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/endnote_import
