Hi, Have a look here. Does the style produce it correctly here? http://editor.citationstyles.org/styleInfo/?styleId=http://www.zotero.org/styles/chicago-author-date If yes is the answer, then the problem lies not with the style, but somewhere else.…

Danke fuer die Erinnerung. Ich schaus mir die naechsten Tage an.
-
I've just made the necessary changes in GitHub. https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/pull/2554
-
@adamsmith It's an elsevier journal. Elsevier wants to have DOIs included, no?
-
Sorry. I just realised you couldn't see that.
-
In the .csl style file. http://docs.citationstyles.org/en/stable/primer.html#xml-basics
-
haha. Oops. Certainly ;)
-
that is certainly possible and nothing trivial. Have a look here how to get started editing a style: https://www.zotero.org/support/dev/citation_styles/style_editing_step-by-step You can either edit the MDPI style or the Harvard Ref Style to match w…
-
@agneskorn or somebody else, Could you post an example publication to adapt the style? Barely anything in the style guide. thanks
-
@eagleeye600 the style has been created and should be in the repository within the hour. https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=Journal of the Association of Environmental and Resource Economists
-
I'm silly. This is an RSC journal. Has been added now (https://github.com/citation-style-language/journals/pull/34), but of course one can directly use the https://www.zotero.org/styles/royal-society-of-chemistry style
-
Hi, I don't get why you would want the URL there. The Calil citation has been published, in a journal, with pages and also has a DOI. That is very specific, precise and allows to find the citation. It is exactly like the citation lined out here in t…

Changes are made, Adam and Rintze gave me a hand. Thanks. The updated version should be on the repository shortly or you can somewhere within Zotero pull the latest version.
-
@ivandjaw Hi, Could you upload some pdfs to their papers? Without it I don't even know what type of style it is. Thanks
-
@joadelsolar Can you link to an actual example where there is a URL for a journal article?
-
Try the style that is in the repository now. https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=Music theory
-
Sorry. My fault. Try this one: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/damnation333/styles/be7d38cca2363e1aa1db2a3aff08a472552ab709/music-theory-spectrum.csl
-
@antaresboyle Check it out again. Should have fixed he two issues now.
-
@joaodelsolar I've made most of the changes. Waiting to get some tips on how to add the URL when it's not published yet. Can you check with this code if the mistakes are gone? https://raw.githubusercontent.com/damnation333/styles/769af131ff561af445…
-
I think we're working on something you're looking for here: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/64589/style-request-music-theory-spectrum#latest
-
@antaresboyle I think I fixed all the issues. not sure about the --- thing. I've activated subsequent-author-substitute. let's see if that's correct.
-
You don't "need" those two citations, but what you need is to adapt them so they look like the Nozari 2007 citation for example. Also, it's easier if your thread title is as indicated in the "Requesting styles" wiki.
-
@adamsmith Can you advise here? As far as I know the style should be fine since it validated on GitHub. I think it has more to do with Zotero itself?
-
@joaodelsolar I just had a go at this. Could you test the code and see if there is any mistakes? https://www.zotero.org/styles
-
Can you try a fresh document? Might be that something is corrupted.
-
Elsevier Harvard should show you the DOI at least. You can see it is happening here in the preview: https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=id:elsevier-harvard Can you double check your library entries in Zotero if there is actually a DOI available?
-
Hi @inbal.zafirlavie If you get all the information as outlined here (please read carefully), then a volunteer might have a look. https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/wiki/Requesting-Styles You can then also use the ExampleSearch outl…

@avidtatter The style has now been added to the repository. The style must have changed substantially since you posted in 2015. The guidelines on their website are not in lign with what they use in actual recent publications now. https://www.zotero…
