What style are you trying to install? What we see here often is that if you're in a certain network evironment it doesn't let you install dependent styles. In that case you can easily just install the parent style.
-
@Larisa I've had a go at this. I am dependent on your review and testing though. Could you download the new style here and test it out? Link: https://github.com/POBrien333/styles/raw/6b5eb17f816503c0c12b4a97b326225a65e331f3/cultural-geographies.cs…

I just had a quick look at it. Let me check over the weekend. Thanks for reviewing.

that's defo a mistake in the style. (btw. computer program in Zotero is dealt with as a book in CSL.) Let me put in a fix. Are both styles affected? Are those two styles the same actually? edit: right click, save as and install to test: https://git…

(adamsmith, can you change the text in the wiki to include a line to not open new threads if they've already opened one? I don't have edit rights)

PR submitted: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/pull/3551

We can make a dependent style no problem, but if there is small changes we can do those, too.
-
We can just update it instead of deleting it. Can you link to the guidelines?

I've just tested this out. You literally just need to switch the language settings of the style and then it will do "ebd." automatically already. John L. Campbell und Ove K. Pedersen, „The Varieties of Capitalism and Hybrid Success“, Comparative Po…

You'll need to edit the style. I've already given you instructions how to do so.
-
Which style are you using? Please check how the data is entered in Zotero. How are you adding these citations into your text document? (You should be using the Zotero AddIn from the Ribbon menu in Word/Libre office etc.)

You can insert this after the info section and before the first macro or just the term if it already has a locale section. ebd. (might not be 100% correct. you'll need to test. :) )

Thank you for the request. We'll look at it over the next few weeks. Please keep an eye on this thread/your inbox for potential questions/the final style/a draft.

1. that's handled via the name-as-sort-order set on "first". 2. That's pretty much how most common styles deal with chapters. for example I'm sitting in front of the council-of-science-editors-author-date that is like that.
