Hi, We normally go by actual publications and use the pdfs for papers to check the reference format. Oftentimes the guidelines don't get updated. This recent article shows the format we also generate with the citation style we have on the repository…

Hi, Was this something that the editors of the journal said? I do not see that in the guidelines to be included for all journal articles, but just for preprint articles. This recent article also does not include DOIs.

Hi, APA should do this correctly. Just checked and it comes out as: (Kimberly et al., 2019) Which language have you got set? Please check APA is actually selected in Word under Document preferences. Please check if the authors are entered correctly…

You get that error when the citation style is not set up to print anything for an item type. Which style are you using?
-
Within Zotero you can give tags, like "insert later" if you don't want to create the bibliography just yet. See: https://www.zotero.org/support/collections_and_tags

Please adapt your thread according to the guide (please read carefully): https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/wiki/Requesting-Styles

Hi @philip123cook, I have now added a conditional into the author macro that if the item type is legal_case that it prints out the "title" field (Case Name). The new style will update automatically with the next update of Zotero, or you can just do…

MDPI update the style(s) themselves from what I understand. They specifically took the DOI out end of 2018: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/pull/3808
-
What do the citation guidelines say about this? Or can you provide some examples how this dealt with in actual papers (from their .pdfs)?

Zeilen 201-208 damit ersetzen, dann verschwindet der Fehler. Du hast einfach vergessen die Nummer aufzurufen oder es gelöscht. Code mit https://validator.citationstyles.org/ überprüfen.

@drsarmadpk 1. Please do not hijack threads that are on a completely different topic. 2. If you had read this thread then you would've seen my response on June 7, 2018 which tells you how to properly request a citation style.

I gave you an example how this could be implemented in its minimal form. You can see a real example here. Lines 171... https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/blob/master/academy-of-management-review.csl It all depends on the style you us…

It can be in this thread. But to be honest, I'm confused and motivation is low to figure this out.
-
It contains a few minor fixes I came across. If there is other things wrong you need to tell me.

After having made some 500 styles based on other styles I would say that 50% are styles like you want, i.e. each item type (or groups of them) are lined up individually in the bibliographic section of the CSL sheet. The other half are more based wit…

I have submitted a fix. Once that gets expected (status changes to "Merged") you can update your Zotero which will also draw in the new styles. https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/pull/4447
-
You'll need to be more specific. "Not working fine" doesn't tell us much. Please give examples.
-
Have a look at the guide again. I'll need the exact example with the metadata provided, not just something random. You also linked to a paper (which I need and seems to have expired), but not to the actual style documentation.

Please follow this guide for requesting a style: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/wiki/Requesting-Styles You can add the missing information into your opening post.

Hi, Something is strange here, as some of those things you request now have already been changed. Also, which guidelines are you basing this on? For example for journal articles I certainly see a space between volume and issue. Thomas, A. R. 1987.…
