While this should be fixed, you can just use the Zotero repo instead: https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=öffentlich
-
Yes, click on top of your item where the name of the item type shoes, e.g. book or journal article, and switch it.

https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/pull/7481 This style will output a chapter correctly if you entered the metadata correctly. Eg.: MARES, I., (2001). Firms and the welfare state: When, why, and how does social policy matter to empl…

That style might just not be programmed well and needs some work.
-
The CSL team is independent from Zotero and consists of a small team of volunteers who do this in their free time to support the academic community. Making and reviewing these styles takes a lot of time! But you can always just download the style I …

"Report" comes to mind. Or "Document".
-
Most likely: https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/existing_citations_not_detected You'll need to figure out why it happened to avoid it in the future. You can use an old copy of the file or otherwise will have to reinsert the missing citations.
-
Not sure why they're saying they're using the NLM (Vancouver) style and then make up their own... PR made: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/pull/7476
-
Nothing is wrong with that. It's a dependent style that just points to the parent, so it's not a proper style that can be edited, hence you running into a wall.
-
Yes, minus "Cardiovascular Research" which wants all authors.
-
Is this generally wrong for the style though? Because we'd want that fixed for all users.
-
You will need to reinstall that style. Just changing the file on your hard disc won't do anything. Double click and Zotero should pick it up. Otherwise just set to open .csl files via "open with..." to Zotero. Also, not sure why you don't have a sel…

Line 199. "Attribute “variable” not allowed on element “else” " You can either have JUST or an that tests for a specific parameter. In your case you're mixing both.

Are you logged in with the correct Google account?
-
That generally works for me. See the troubleshooting guide here: https://www.zotero.org/support/troubleshooting_translator_issues
-
That links to a paper in ChemBioChem? That's a completely different journal.
-
Items can live inside your document, even though you already deleted them from your Zotero library. Delete the b+c citations in your document and reinsert them and make sure you use the correct one. (Going forward, never just delete items inside Zo…

PR made: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/pull/7471 Available here: https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=id:boreas

I've fixed the in-text sort order. Journal names are already shortened. Make sure you have the "Use MedLine abbreviations" checkbox ticked. https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/pull/7469
-
If I'm not mistaken you have to change to footnotes first, then you can switch to an in-text style like APA.
-
It's not clear what you are trying to achieve. How was the "existing reference list" generated? What do you mean by "Zotero library file"?
-
The "short" is set on the label of the "page" variable. That makes the word "page(s)" into its short form: "p./pp.". That has nothing to do with how the actual page variable is rendered. With the current version of CSL we can only do EITHER 123-125 …

See the official documentation here: https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/moving_documents_between_word_processors WITHOUT Word you could try to use an online converter that takes a .docx and makes it into an .odt. Otherwise, why not ask a friend who …

See https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/blob/master/REQUESTING.md#requesting-csl-styles for how to correctly request a style.
-
What I don't get is the why? There is some 15 or so name variables. Many of them are barely used. Just use one not at all used in your style and use that.
-
You cannot just invent variables. You have to use one that exists: https://docs.citationstyles.org/en/stable/specification.html#name-variables
-
Where are you getting this info from though?
-
Can you link to the journal's guidelines and a current open-access article? Then I can have a look.
-
This has nothing to do with the topic per se. You'd need to modify your citation style. That's where that is dealt with. You shouldn't be deleting/moving metadata around in your Zotero library to achieve a certain output.
