Styles just change/get updated over time... I do not see anywhere in their guidelines that a website or newspaper should have a full d-m-y date. PR made: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/pull/7467
-
Das kann im Zitierstil eingestellt werden. Welche Uni und Fachrichtung ist das denn? Hast du einen Link zu den Richtlinien?
-
En general tenemos esta guía que pueden seguir: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/blob/master/REQUESTING.md#requesting-csl-styles
-
Well, then whoever is telling you to use APA7 actually doesn't want you to use APA7... You'd need to modify the style.
-
If you're supposed to use APA7, then that's done correctly for you. APA7 removed the "Retrieve [date]". If you however still need/want that, you can switch to APA6 which you can install from here: https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=APA 6th

Yes. If you're not seeing the correct output, then you're doing something wrong in the way you test this out.

Replace your editor macro with this:
-
Yeah, that is exactly what you need to do and works: https://s3.amazonaws.com/zotero.org/images/forums/u452233/sjxu4rdk8yuwjbz0w267.png

1. You would need to modify the "issued" macro. 2. No, not possible without manually changing the names in your library and that's not a good thing to do.
-
To show short bits of code, wrap them in code tags like so: asdf I'd prefer if you shared your full code via pastebin.com though. It's not clear what style you're using.
-

Law citation is tricky and we're already overloaded with requests for the normal styles. Can you post a screenshot of your item from Zotero and also the section from OSCOLA's guidelines you're referring to? Then I can at least try and have a look.
-
APA WILL certainly shorten in-text citations to (Miller et al. 2007). Do not change things manually around as that will give you other issues later on. Make sure that the metadata in your Zotero library has each author in a separate line, not all i…

It's unclear from your description which part of "using Zotero" you're struggling with. So for mor concrete help we need more concrete descriptions. What could be your issue though is that you actually did NOT set the style in your document. A styl…

You'd need to edit the citation style. No way around it without manually editing. The "Book Author" variable in Zotero is the "container-author" variable CSL. You'd add that as a subsitute to the names element that calls the editors for book chapter…
-
I would treat this just like a book chapter. So switch the book author to "editor"
-
The Linter plugin can help with that: https://github.com/northword/zotero-format-metadata
-
Turn on field codes, search for the remnant of the citation and delete it. https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/word_field_codes

Thanks for testing. I had the order in a conditional wrong. https://raw.githubusercontent.com/citation-style-language/styles/755bd587e8d3bf2a54d50df5d2ee154cfbfcc6d0/american-meteorological-society.csl

What's the name of the journal? Can you link to their citation guidelines and a public (ie. open access) paper?
-
Dann musst du ein "parent item" dafür erstellen und dann manuell die Metadaten eintragen. Alternativ kannst du auch versuchen das Patent in einer Online Datenbank zu finden und dann von dort zu importieren.

(adamsmith, this is the same question I asked you a week ago regarding this custom JJS style I made for OP and is merged on the repository)
-
"Assumption: We can define our own unique variable in CSL, and put it in Extra field - is that correct? " No, you can't just invent new variables.
-
Thanks for the report and for getting all the right information together. I completely overhauled the style to make it more robust. Please test it out and let me know if you find any other issues: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/citation-style-lan…

See "Cite collapsing": https://docs.citationstyles.org/en/stable/specification.html#cite-collapsing
-
Der Validator sagt dir, was der Fehler ist: https://validator.citationstyles.org/ Falls du nicht versteht warum oder wie du das richtest, kannst du den Stil einfach auf pastebin.com hochladen und den Link hier teilen.

Despite no feedback from OP.... Style now available: https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=id:journal-of-law-medicine-ethics

You'll obviously want to do the unlinking of your citations in a copy of your document. There is also some VBA scripts floating around in the forum that should do the same. I can't remember if you had to unlink citations for that also.
