Thanks for the report. It's about getting it fixed for our thousands of users, not just you! It strikes me as odd that they don't want DOIs since Springer in general has moved to adding DOIs where possible a while ago.

In a fresh document, with just one of the problematic citations, does it work? Also, which citation style. Certain styles can exclude certain items/variable combinations from the bibliography.
