Genau deswegen würde bereits 2x gefragt einen Auszug der Datei zu zeigen.

Das kommt ganz auf den Zitierstil drauf an, den du eingestellt hast. Es gibt mehr als 10.000 davon im Stil Verzeichnis.

The CSL team ask for this stuff for a reason. What we do with it might not be as obvious. I've created a costum style for the journal: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/citation-style-language/styles/45566f0b5cfa2ada026690860072875872934491/pain-ph…

I doubt that will happen. Zotero wants to create a software that works for everyone, while not overloading it with stuff that only some will use. Hence they allow for the creation of plugins to provide such functionality that can be added by individ…
-
Sure. There is a few threads on this topic in this forums and also an article here: https://citationstyler.com/en/knowledge/ai-plugins-for-zotero/

You can always download the style from the PR that was shared. View the code, then right click on Raw and use save as... to download.
-
Since you're using Firefox, make sure to right click and chose "save as..." And then install in Zotero. Zotero is based off Firefox and hence FF will think it's a plugin for itself. That of course won't work. Go here and download(!) the .xpi. https:…

You'd need to contact the respective developers of each plugin to fix any issues.

Explained here: https://www.zotero.org/support/dev/citation_styles/style_editing_step-by-step

Not merging, but you can easily rename the versions you don't like with a simple script. Guide here: https://citationstyler.com/en/knowledge/how-can-i-change-a-name-word-title-in-my-whole-zotero-database/
-
Any reason you're not committing the fix directly so your students can use the improved version? https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md
-
You'd need to be specific. I don't see anything major pop out at a first look.

PR made: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/pull/7509

Here's a guide: https://citationstyler.com/en/knowledge/link-zotero-citations-to-bibliography-in-word/

What journal? Can you link to the guidelines? (ChatGPT won't help here. way too complex)

If you're indeed supposed to use CMoS, enter as much data as you can and let the style do the rest for you. It has a fallback built in to use the title of a document when no author is available. The type you can enter into extra like so: genre: webs…

That depends on the style. What university are you trying to submit? Do you have a link to their guidelines. What style are you currently using?

I'm sure one can create a script. What's the pattern?

Create a new collection, then use the ref extractor to select the citations and out them into the collection. Do this for every document. Then you have a collection and can create a bibliography. https://rintze.zelle.me/ref-extractor/

1. See https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/given_name_disambiguation 2. If it's still giving you a and b, then you haven't deleted the source and it still lives in your document. You can check that by turning on Field Codes and comparing the two citat…

I've sent you an email :)

You cannot put text in a date field. That's not how that works. You can use a term like so and then modify it in the locale. last modified

It'll take some months till the CSL reviewers get a chance to review and merge the style to make it widely available. But there is no issue using the style with the given link.
-
You have a couple of threads open, all about the same style I assume. Just share the style via pastebin.com if you can't figure things out and keep questions in a single thread. You'll be more likely to receive help.

Please adapt your post according to this guide. We'd need the examples and ISSNs. https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/blob/master/REQUESTING.md#requesting-csl-styles

When I ask documentation I'm asking for the guidelines from your university that show how to write your thesis including the citations and bibliography. Something like this RefWorks can use/uses CSL citation styles just like Zotero. Where did you s…

This one must've slipped through the gaps. I just had a quick stab at the style: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/raw/da642b3cd72875c6df29c1f32450cd7093a06eb6/journal-of-systematics-and-evolution.csl

That's this style: https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=id:royal-entomological-society (The PR for the dependent styles incl. Insect Conservation is not merged yet: https://github.com/citation-style-language/journals/pull/148 )
