We were asking these questions so we could have it easy to make a custom style. I have done so now. https://raw.githubusercontent.com/citation-style-language/styles/a6b5e176d3391e11c401566ca5086ce12156ec5a/jci-insight.csl

Hey, As was mentioned above we'd need a list with the changes from v.10 to 11. I assume it's minimal changes, so it wouldn't take long for me to make such a style. But I'd need to have a list of changes.
-
Haven't checked, but could you also check the style we have for JCI? https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=id:the-journal-of-clinical-investigation
-
(fix submitted https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/pull/5422)
-
No, there is no way of doing this. You'll need to go through the document and insert the citations with Zotero.
-
Yep. Exactly. Now, using you'll want to check your style validates against the CSL scheme. https://validator.citationstyles.org/ You'll see two errors. The first one is regarding the entry-spacing attribute you have with "". You can just delete th…

There is a menu top left where you can hit save, if I remember correctly. It will show a pop up telling you to change style ID and self link. Also give the downloaded style a matching file name then.
-
You're getting there. You put in an if and an else-if for the ibid conditions, now you want an else alternative where you pack in "normal" formatting if it's neither of the ibids.
-
In the visual editor on the top left click on Global Formatting Options. Bottom field will be for language, where you can put it-IT.
-
Zotero plugin tab under Document preferences. https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_usage
-
The "e" should get activated most likely if you just switch the language of the style to italian. The Visual Editor is relatively easy to use: https://editor.citationstyles.org/visualEditor/
-
We have created a dependent style for C&RL which points at the above Chicago style now. https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=id:college-and-research-libraries
-
We generally don't do many University styles anyway, let alone one WITHOUT guidelines. But you can use this tool to find similar styles: https://editor.citationstyles.org/searchByExample/ These are some close matches: Sociétés Contemporaines The…

Hallo, In solchen Fällen ist es immer besser einen neuen Thread aufzumachen, damit man das klar trennen kann. Für welche Uni/Studiengang ist das denn? Zitierrichtlinien gibt es?

Thanks adamsmith. https://raw.githubusercontent.com/citation-style-language/styles/f8c0e4ee67bede0636b3673a1721b69db2801a7d/acta-universitatis-agriculturae-sueciae.csl

You can edit post here by hovering over a post and clicking on the settings wheel on the top right corner. What do you mean by " The suffix after n.d. still needs to be fixed. "? And for which item type? https://raw.githubusercontent.com/citation-…

Thanks for reporting. Fixed with https://raw.githubusercontent.com/citation-style-language/styles/0be3c4180c1025bf72aa72b5392f3cb0f84c60a6/acta-universitatis-agriculturae-sueciae.csl

First of all, the style for AHSE is just a dependent style pointing at a Springer style which is used quite a bit. The style produces multiple citations correctly: (Ahlquist and Breunig 2009; Campbell and Pedersen 2007; Isaacson 2011; Mares 2001) …

Add the code, upload it to a code sharing service and we'll point out the mistake. That way you'll also learn something. ;)
-
Ah, if this is for a specific journal get me the ISSNs and a link to the citation guidelines and a public paper. Then I can make a custom style.
-
Problem 1: The author-date style will not produce numbers, so that's the wrong one. When you use a note/endnote style with Zotero and click add/edit citation all Zotero does is tell Word "Please insert a footnote for me here, please". So the numbers…
-
What university/institute is the style? Could you provide a link to the citation guidelines?
-
That was a reply for me. (To use the MHRA style as a template for the requested style.)
-
So, "text-case="title"" is what sets this in the style. In chicago fullnote you'd take this out of the title-note and/or title macros that you find in lines 236 onwards. If you want it removed just for books then you would remove that from the condi…

Which Chicago style are you using? Then we can suggest the edits you'd need to make.
-
If there is actually errors not in line with the guidelines in any of the styles then we'd want to fix those, as we have dozens/hundreds of users using these styles, so we'd want a correct style.
-
I'd prefer if you added additional edits for styles just to your other thread if it is just an edit. Easier to keep track of the history of the style. Can you get me a link to the guidelines and a free sample paper, please?
-
Hi, First of all, the AHSE style is just a depenedent style of the socspsych Springer style. Secondly, we go by typeset papers, i.e. the pdfs of papers, as quite often the journal guidelines don't get updated on the website. Check out this paper: …
