Style Error: Advances in Health Sciences Education

The Zotero style (dated 2014) for the journal, Advances in Health Sciences Education, is no longer consistent with the latest journal style notes. E.g., for a book chapter:
- AHSE style is:

    Hi,

    First of all, the AHSE style is just a depenedent style of the socspsych Springer style. Secondly, we go by typeset papers, i.e. the pdfs of papers, as quite often the journal guidelines don't get updated on the website.

    Thank you @damnation! My sense was that, with a change of editor, the journal had changed its referencing style. But you are correct, even the latest published articles aren't consistent with the examples in the journal style notes. Many thanks.

    I wanted to also mention that when I changed referencing style from AMA 11th edn to Advances in Health Sciences Education, several in-text references for a single statement looked like this: (Andersen et al. 2020),(Davids et al. 2020),(Gao 2020) etc.
    Apart from manually correcting, is there any way to fix this?

    First of all, the style for AHSE is just a dependent style pointing at a Springer style which is used quite a bit.

    The style produces multiple citations correctly:
    (Ahlquist and Breunig 2009; Campbell and Pedersen 2007; Isaacson 2011; Mares 2001)

    Did you actually add them into one cite bubble?
