Change the language to US English. That's a particular distinction in en-GB.

Do check recent papers of this journal. Guidelines are very often not updated. While there was some discrepancies, the style pretty much matched recent papers. I've made some changes, but as a whole the style doesn't match their guidelines anymore. …

If it starts at 1 again, that hints that you somehow flattened your citations. See https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/existing_citations_not_detected for how to diagnose and typical sources of why it happened.

All you do is go to the article, e.g. on PubMed, click the Zotero connector button and it will be imported to your Zotero library. Then you can cite it. What do you mean with "automatic upload process"? What file do you have and what are you doing …

Which language do you have set for your document? That's a distinction between British and American English.

You'd need to change the actually Word formatting style, not just manually change it. See the first screenshot here. But instead of changing the font you change the paragraph's line height.

Looks like the last release is from Oct 2024, so I'd say that the developer is not actively updating the plugin anymore. There are some alternatives though.

The "Country" field in Zotero is NOT mapped to any CSL variable, so is not usable. I've just merged a slightly improved version. You can update your style or it'll do so automatically after a while. It will have today's date.
