Hmmm... didn't work for me. I must have done something weird. Instead of references, in the Chicago version, they show at the end as full notes. I can add new citations and the Notes section updates automatically and if I try to add a reference list…

I'll give it a go - worst they can do is laugh at my submission, right?

An article for journal. Journal says to use Chicago Style and check samples of previous articles to check formating. Articles I looked at had full references in their endnotes

I am having same issue - WorldCat has the book and appropriate ISBN (978-0345455291), but Zotero isn't getting it. I am in Ohio, so shouldn't be location issue. Happening with multiple books, but not all.

I just saw this thread... https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/64062/zotero-and-reading-lists#latest - which seems to have an answer. Is this the same for APA? For us non-techies, is this difficult?

I'm with Richard! Writing a book and really need references at the end of each chapter rather than one long reference at the end.
-
Oppsss - looks like they removed the option to set it to classic view by default. Sadness.

Hope the automated solution will be available soon! I appreciate your recommendation to edit in the text rather than by using the Classic view, but I actually use the Author (date) format more frequently than the (Author, Date) format, so saves me a…

Bummer! Oh, well. Following your links did at least show me how to change the Zotero default to classic view - 1 step closer!

Hmmm... So instead of: 1. click 'show editor' 2. remove parenthesis at beginning 3. remove comma 4. add parenthesis before date 5. click OK I would: 1. click "suppress author" 2. type the author's name - an average of 5 keystrokes 3. click OK Don't…

Well, phooey! Thanks anyway.
-
Never mind - I found it - just had to add the style to my list.

OK - I am getting there... I need full references with lat name, first name. I have complete references when I use the Notes version of CMS, but the author's name is first then last... 1. John Bennett and Linda Bennett, “A Review of Factor…

Bummer! Thanks anyway. Any ideas on making the references not superscripted?
-
OK - I changed to the Chicago Full Notes style, but the reference list doesn't look different - some are full and others are partial... 1. John Bennett and Linda Bennett, “A Review of Factors That Influence the Diffusion of Innovation When …

Hmmm... I see now that my in-text citation is also in the wrong order. Currently it shows... materials 7. and what I need is... materials .7
-
Thanks much - that will speed me up a bit (I tried searching, but wasn't sure of keywords, so thanks for repeating this for me.)
-
Could this be because I am copying the actual Zotero citation from one Word doc to another? The newer doc is the one having problems.
-
Sent email and deleted reference list for now. Thanks for any help you can provide!

Report ID: 87300788 Word 2007 SP2 FireFox 5.0 Win Vista :-( Not sure how to tell my Zotero version Happens each time I add or change a citation.

Thanks Adam, yes, I can delete all of them, but it keeps happening. By 'links' I mean the tie back to Zotero - when you click on a reference item it goes grey - reflecting that it is tied to Zotero as a link in case you update the Zotero refere…
