@elenabesussi Just checked on my Note Air 2, also missing in play store. But looking on the play store webpage for it, none of my devices are listed as compatible either (including my pixel phone). https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com…

Thanks for the references. Yes, wholesale syncing of everything is both unrealistic and undesirable. I wonder if syncing just open tabs/PDFs in reader might be a feasible optional feature, i.e. open Zotero and have your workspace restored from previ…

Was looking in the forum to see if others had suggested this! Seems like a couple at least (e.g. https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/93622/feature-suggestion-sync-open-tabs-and-save-load-tab-configurations/p1) Would definitely help me as well, but…

Yes I understand that up/down do paging in full+ width horizontal view, in symmetry with left/right in full+ height vertical. And that makes sense. But in both modes it's contingent on zoom level with no paging keystrokes available, e.g. if you've z…

Understood, I was taking about in horizontal zoom mode when full pages are visible. But yes, adding 'zoom to height' would be helpful in vertical scrolling mode, so thanks for considering that at least.

Thanks for the reply dstillman. I'll elaborate, though I'm probably just repeating myself to some extent. The things that "single page mode" does on other readers (Acrobat, DrawboardPDF, etc) which I currently miss are: 1) fitting the full, as-would…

But "Automatically Resize" does not fit to page at all? At least not on my setup.

This would be great, especially for Onyx Boox devices and other eink android tablets.

Wow Michael this is a really good app, really snappy and best experience I've had so far with respect to syncing/updating and working with a large library. Thank you for making it, and making it free. 2 comments: 1) when I input WebDav settings ju…

Thanks for the info, much appreciated :)

Thanks Dan for the advice. FYI does indeed look like data corruption; I copied over the Zotero folder from the laptop and that worked fine. Something strange going on with the original sqlite file I think but no disk errors reported.
-
Hmmm, that's alarming, because it's already in a local folder. I put it in C:\ProgramData\Zotero to avoid profile sync issues on my work computer (it has been there for over a year). Update: moved folder to appdata\local and same error. So I guess …

Also, my library is huge (5741 items and 11.6GB) so low-impact workarounds are preferred!

Good to hear that development will continue in any case. Thank you! My requests: i) left hand browse menu to take up only 2/3 or so of screen, so you can always see entries update as you browse. Also, 'back' command at the top so can tap-tap-tap in…

F-droid is good for an free software repo: https://f-droid.org/en/

On re-launch: "Initialising database. please wait" for a long long time. Checking back later: some items displayed (oldest). Scrolling down, the app freezes and crashes.
-
Clean install. First sync took a long time (didn't time it, but about 15 minutes). Crashed immediately on getting to 100% (or might have been a bit before that).
-
I think my db is too heavy for this app: took 5-10 mins to sync, and since then it either freezes or crashes. (I have 4000+ items)
-
Sounds good

.14 fixed my problems too (that I just came here to whinge about). Thanks guys.

New Debug ID D1041312208. This time I left it running overnight, can confirm that the sync completed.
-
Awesome! Much prefer working from inside Firefox, thank you so much for the fix
-
Thanks Dan, yes that seems to have worked, after a few attempts. It looks like the computer going into sleep mode (an entirely separate issue I've got) might be cutting off the sync session without that being registered? best regards, Carl

Ah okay so after actually RTFMing, it's the Firefox 64-bit incompatibility? What threw me was that it seemed to work okay for me with the previous version of the plugin (I've been on the 64-bit version for a few months). Workaround of running …

Thanks Dan, sorry for wasting your time I was still on 28.10. All good once updated. BTW what's the easiest way to get notifications about updates? I mean, except, like actually using my brain and checking that I'm using the latest version bef…

@rdiaz02: that sounds like the ongoing issue I've had with Zandy: I have a big collection (2000+ items) and it's never synced it completely. I think I'll be buying Zotable anyway (to at least provide an encouragement signal!) but it wasn't just the …

"Using colors from Alternative Colour Scheme would give: http://s30.postimg.org/bwaxl48v5/bright_palette.png" That also makes a good difference between the blue and the green - I can't really tell them apart at the moment when font size is set …

Thank you! With that advice it looks like I've got what I want now, with an extra step required. Procedure, for the record: 1) I did a relative ('include files' box checked) Endnote XML export from Zotero. 2) In the XML file, replaced …
-
Thanks, that actually works locally but of course it creates absolute references to the PDFs in my Zotero library, and for whatever reason Endnote won't convert them into relative ones (I just get "no links converted" when I try), or in any other wa…

Question about Endnote XML. Exporting from Zotero and importing to Endnote, I can't seem to get Endnote (X4 and X6) to completely import a Zotero XML export *with files*. The references import nicely and have the paperclip 'attachment' icons next to…
