joehill, you have exactly the same error as michopop did above. Have you tried disabling apparmor entirely?
-
Try re-installing PythonExt.
-
Yes, I see the error there. Are you running either Firefox or Word as administrator or in compatibility mode? Try right-clicking each shortcut, selecting Properties, and then selecting the Compatibility tab, and make sure that neither of these optio…

If Opera has a similar API to Chrome and Safari, we will probably support it eventually. However, Chrome, Safari, and IE are all higher priorities simply because these browsers have a larger market share. Once we have Zotero working with these, we'l…

There are no Zotero errors in that report. Can you re-trigger the error and then generate another?
-
From your report ID, it looks like you're running the released version Zotero WinWord Integration 3.0b1 and not the WinWord Integration branch XPI. I don't know if this is because you installed the branch XPI after generating the report ID and still…

I can't reproduce this. Make sure you've followed Dan's workaround here, and try deleting extensions.sqlite in your profile directory. Does Zotero work in Firefox 3.6.13?
-
Foellmer, I just played around with this a little more and I think I might have something that works. It would be great if you could test the extension at the link I posted in the other thread.
-
Can you try installing the OpenOffice.org Integration Branch XPI and see whether it resolves this for you? (2.1 beta users will need to try the OpenOffice.org Integration Trunk XPI.)
-
Foellmer, see http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/15243/libre-office-action-not-supported-invalid-procedure-call/. For now, only OOo 3.2 is supported on Windows.

To address most of your questions, the Chrome extension is in https://www.zotero.org/svn/connector/chrome/trunk/. (There's also a Safari extension there.) You can load the extension by enabling developer mode and selecting "Load unpacked extension" …

I'm not quite sure what the error in the error report is, but regardless, Zotero shouldn't be able to crash Word, and certainly shouldn't be able to cause document corruption, since it communicates with Word using only public APIs. You can email the…

Your new error is different ("java is undefined") and indicates that Java isn't working at all. Your error report indicates that you might be running 32-bit Firefox on 64-bit Ubuntu, which will break Java entirely, since Ubuntu ships with only a 64-…

treblekicker, this is a bug/regression in Firefox 3.6.14pre. We're working on getting it fixed. Firefox 3.6.13 should work fine.
-
Generate a report ID (after re-triggering the error) and it will include the error.
-
Great. Thanks for your patience. I've added this to the word processor plug-in troubleshooting page so that it will be easier to come across for other users experiencing the same issue.
-
Are you doing a custom install of Office? If so, you should make sure that the "Visual Basic for Applications" package is checked. I've confirmed that both the Zotero error and the "Could not fire event" error on quit appear if it isn't, but install…

mpiuzzi, did you try uninstalling and reinstalling Word 2011?
-
We're also working on making all formats supported by export translators work server-side, although there's no ETA on this.
-
Send the file to support@zot...org and we'll take a look.
-
What's happening when you try to import the file?
-
JaquelineLelis, this is covered here.
-
Can you provide a report ID after re-triggering the error?
-
Trying every journal website is infeasible. Determining the journal from the PDF would require detection code for each supported journal (of which there are several hundred). Someone would also need to write code to search the websites. This is a ra…

Do new notes work? Have you recently installed any new Firefox extensions, themes, or personas?
-
I've clarified that the location is the same in Vista and Win 7, but, since the AppData directory is usually hidden, the easiest way to open the Zotero data directory is usually to use "Show data directory" in the Zotero preferences, as the page not…

As that page notes at the top, since Zotero 2.0 supports sync natively, it is deprecated. Additionally, using a third-party file sync service is one of the top ways people corrupt their databases (by opening the database in multiple locations simult…

Potential workarounds are: 1) Use draft view. 2) Only insert citations at the end of the text. (Inserting a new numeric citation in the middle of your text requires that each subsequent citation be updated, which is probably the cause of the long r…
