Zotero SVN requires Firefox 3.6 or later. Iceweasel 3.5.15 is presumably compiled from Firefox 3.5. If you can get Iceweasel 3.6.13, it should work.

Can you try uninstalling and reinstalling Word 2011? I don't think anything could cause this besides an issue with Word.
-
If you still have the screwed up file, would you mind sending it (with or without citations) to support@zot..org with a link to this thread? Thanks.
-
Try just the second command without the first.
-
Does it work in a new document? Are you trying to edit a document that you previously created with OpenOffice?
-
I think Dan fixed this yesterday, so this should work in 2.1b3.
-
It can only say Zotero OpenOffice Integration if Zotero OpenOffice Integration is actually installed, since it retrieves the name from the extension itself. Sounds like you need to either remove or update Zotero OpenOffice Integration.

For merging two libraries, your best bet is probably import/export after resolving the path length issue using one of the solutions above, unless your attached files are
-
There has never been an option to export a text file, since a text file would not preserve italics or other formatting. There is an option to export an RTF file, which you should be able to open with Word, or to copy the bibliography to the clipboar…

Does this happen even when you insert the citations in a new document?

From where did you install Zotero MacWord Integration 3.0a8? The latest version of Zotero MacWord Integration is 3.0b7, which is newer and may fix your problems.

rfarris and NicoleCB: unfortunately, while you're both getting the same error in your reports, I have very little idea what's causing it, as I've been completely incapable of reproducing it despite repeated attempts. If you create a new document in…

We'd need a report ID to figure out what's behind the error, but the document corruption sounds like either a bug in Word or a failing hard drive. Since Zotero only directs Word to add fields to documents using public methods, and does not directly …

cumuluss, your original issues were related to quotations in the URL field, which the RDF parsing library wasn't escaping properly. This is now fixed in Zotero SVN. The problems you seem to be experiencing now are related to path length. Your RDF i…

There's a screencast here describing Word 2003 for Windows and an additional tutorial here. Almost everything is the same with Word 2011, but the functions are accessible via the script menu rather than a toolbar.

I think that this should work if you change the general.useragent.locale preference to en-GB in about:config, or, alternatively, if you install the en-GB version of Firefox.
-
Try ls -la /Users/Shared/.zoteroIntegrationPipe* in Terminal and see if that shows anything. We moved the pipe several releases ago.

cumuluss, would you mind sending the file to support@zot...org with a link to this thread?

That error is almost certainly either an apparmor or permissions issue. (See this thread.) Have you tried turning off apparmor entirely?
-
In this case, debug output isn't particularly useful, but a report ID might give us an idea of whether the failure is Java-related or something else.
-
ghwong379, the bug you report is new to Zotero 2.1b2, and will be fixed in the next release. cumuluss, if you are using Zotero 2.1b2, you are likely experiencing the same issue. If you are using Zotero 2.0, we'll need a report ID to troubleshoot th…

Deleting entries from the bibliography doesn't delete the references in 2.1 beta, but you probably don't want to be using 2.1 beta for a large project.
-
Have you tried reinstalling OpenOffice components?
-
Try re-installing Zotero WinWord Integration from the 2.1 beta page. If that doesn't work, you need to tell me the version number that appears next to Zotero WinWord Integration in the Firefox add-on manager, which you can get to by selecting "Add-o…

If this is what I think it is, it's a known issue with the Ubuntu OOo build that can be fixed by installing the standard version of OpenOffice.org.
-
It's not something we can fix. We should provide a better error message, but notebook view does not support Word fields, which Zotero needs to link citations to items so that the bibliography can be automatically updated. You can use quick copy to g…

That is the download page for the beta. There is no place you can download Zotero 2.1 besides from that page. If you had posted what version of Zotero WinWord Integration you had installed, which I asked you to do at least twice, or if you hadn't be…
-
You need to download the Word plug-in for 2.1, which is on the 2.1 beta page.

Zotero and Zotero WinWord Integration are definitely installed on your system, or else you wouldn't see that error message, although you probably have the wrong version of Zotero WinWord Integration installed. I'm not sure what you mean by "4-5 file…

What version of Zotero WinWord Integration do you have installed in Tools->Add-ons->Extensions in Firefox?
