Yes. The plink URL that the EBSCOHost translator uses is on a different host (search.ebscohost.com), so Zotero doesn't automatically proxy it. Furthermore, because it's in a text box and not an actual link, EZProxy doesn't mangle it automatically to…

It would still be great to have a report ID for the reinstallation failure. Otherwise, you might run into trouble if we modify the scripts used for communication with Firefox.
-
Can you take a screenshot and post it somewhere (e.g., imageshack) so that we can have a better idea of what's going on?
-
Did you click the refresh button?
-
Done.

Fixed on the trunk.

kcwade, this will probably be fixed in the next release, due out in a few days, but for now you can upgrade to Firefox 4 or set javascript.options.tracejit.chrome to false in about:config (although the latter option might make things much slower).

Is the disk that you have Portable Firefox on full? That could explain this issue, and you would be able to fix it by deleting files. Otherwise, make a backup of the disk immediately. You are getting disk I/O errors from both Zotero and built-in Fir…

Does this happen in a new document? What version of Word are you running?
-
There is a Zotero toolbar button that you can add to the toolbar in View->Toolbars->Customize. You can then turn off the status bar icon in the Zotero preferences.
-
What directory are you choosing?

We haven't seen this in 2.1.1, but the underlying issue should be fixed in the latest Zotero 2.1 branch XPI, although you would want to heed the warning there and back everything up before trying it, and make sure to install Zotero 2.1.2 manually by…

Try the mozilla.com binary. There may be an issue with the Gentoo build.
-
Zotero doesn't contain any binary components, so it shouldn't be capable of causing a segmentation fault. This seems like a bug in Firefox or a configuration issue that affects some functionality that Zotero uses. Are you running a copy of Firefox 4…

I think you may have been running into this bug. The only connection the integration plug-in makes is to 127.0.0.1 (loopback), so the network should definitely be accessible.

Do you have a persona or theme installed? If so, disable it.
-
Are these EndNote® styles? Because if so, it's probably not going to work.
-
Have you tried using a different style?
-
Looks good to me.
-
Stan, try disabling all extensions but Zotero and see if this makes things better.
-
Frank, it's been a while but I believe that in Zotero 2.0, a space was only added after/before the prefix/suffix if the last/first character of the prefix/suffix was alphanumeric. Otherwise, the space was added. I previously did this by using [A-Za-…

Fixed on the trunk.

There's a ticket for this already at https://www.zotero.org/trac/ticket/1798

Type the author name in the document by hand and then add a citation, but check the "suppress author" box to get only the year in parentheses.

Have you tried re-selecting the item? (Click "Yes" in the dialog.)

What version of Java do you have installed? Are you using OpenJDK or Sun Java?

By "bibliography", do you mean the bibliography at the end of the text? If so, turn track changes off, accept the changes, and you should be able to re-generate it by clicking "Refresh". There's no way to fix this unless you accept the changes to yo…
