The OpenOffice.org plug-in requires OpenOffice.org (or LibreOffice) 3.3 or later on OS X (Java is broken in earlier versions), so it's not surprising that the extension won't work. You may have to reinstall the extension in Zotero Preferences->Ci…

Can you take a screenshot of the error and send the document to support@zot...org? http://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_troubleshooting#debugging_broken_documents may also help.
-
What version of OpenOffice.org?
-
There's no Zotero error in that error report. Re-trigger the error and try again.
-
Provide a report ID after re-triggering the error.
-
khateebs, can you add a citation to a completely new document? If so, it's probably still just slow. 175 pages is still a long document for Word for Mac to deal with. hjhoffmann62, assuming you have administrator access to your computer, try closin…

Those are the same reports as above, and neither of them are related to Zotero. Is Firefox crashing (closing on its own and hopefully opening a dialog asking you whether you want to report the crash to Mozilla) or hanging (failing to respond to user…

khateebs, can you write out the exact error message, and also provide a report ID after re-triggering it? hjhoffmann62, with Firefox running, can you open /Applications/Utilities/Terminal, and copy and paste the following there: ls -la ~/.zotero* …
-
Have you looked at http://www.zotero.org/support/kb/ssl_certificate_error, as the error message instructs?
-
khateebs, what error message are you getting exactly? hjhoffmann62, migrating a library shouldn't cause problems with Word integration on its own. Did you move/migrate anything else?
-
It's possible that Firefox is automatically entering offline mode because it detects you don't have an internet connection. You can disable this by following these instructions.
-
The first crash report is an old plugin hang unrelated to Zotero and the second won't load for me. Do you have a new one from today?
-
Open it in the AppleScript Editor and then File->Save. No need to do anything else.
-
The Word plug-in for Zotero Standalone doesn't currently work under Lion. This should be fixed soon. For now, you can go to Documents/Microsoft User Data/Word Script Menu Items/Zotero and open each script and save it, or you can install Zotero for F…

Thanks for solving this puzzle, John. I've added this caveat to the installation page.
-
There's no "Update All Citations" option in Zotero, so I think this must be related to the Zotero Scholar Citations add-on, which Dan discusses above.
-
The next version of Zotero already mostly does this. You can't open the pane in Zotero for Firefox while Zotero Standalone is running, but you can still save items.
-
To some degree. In the next release, if you open Zotero for Firefox and Zotero Standalone simultaneously and both are set to work with the same database, Zotero for Firefox will switch to connector mode. FWIW, Zotero doesn't load your library until…

Can you get the report ID for a crash from about:crashes and post it here? Generally, there's no way the OOo.org plug-in should be able to crash anything except by triggering an underlying Firefox bug, but it's possible there's something we need to …

This is the ultimate cause. I'll see if there's a workaround.

It looks like you're trying to edit a document that uses Word fields in OpenOffice.org. You can't. You need to open it in Word and switch to Bookmarks in the Zotero Document Preferences, or create a new document.
-
Can you send the document with several duplicated bibliographies to support@zot...org with a link to this thread? For now, it sounds like you could delete the bibliography entirely and add it back when you finish writing.
-
Check the version of the Zotero extension within OpenOffice.org. If it isn't 3.5a2, follow these steps. If it is 3.5a2, post a screenshot of the error you're getting. (You can use a free image hosting service such as ImageShack or TinyPic to upload …
-
If you combine it at the end, choose the Refresh command from the Zotero menu, and wait until it finishes updating (it may take quite a while), then the document will fix itself.
-
Zotero is slow handling large documents with Word on OS X. You'd be best off splitting up your document into smaller files, and then combining them at the end.
-
Did you restart Word?
-
khateebs, you tried to insert a citation between clicking "Enable" and "Disable"? If so, Zotero isn't getting any message from Word at all, and this is a different issue from above. Try these steps.
-
Disable proxy redirection in the proxies pane of the Zotero preferences.
-
Philippe_T, you might want to try installing LibreOffice 3.4.2, which has been reported to fix this issue on Windows.
-
khateebs, try deleting localstore.rdf in your Firefox profile directory as we suggested above. If that doesn't work, generate a debug ID and report ID after re-triggering the issue.
