Try clicking the "Manual Installation" button at the bottom of the screen at the phase of the install that shows unopkg directories.

kbares, you shouldn't have had to do that. Upgrading to OpenOffice.org or LibreOffice 3.3 or later should have been sufficient.
-
Try the 2.1 branch XPI and let us know if it fixes things. If it works, you should make sure to install Zotero 2.1.9 manually when it is available (should be in a week or two).

Can you provide a report ID after re-triggering the error?
-
Check the word processor plugin installation page in a week or two.

Can one of you try the 2.1 branch XPI and let us know if it fixes the issue? If it doesn't, can you tell us what window manager you're running?
-
Can you open OpenOffice.org from the command line and copy and paste the output here?
-
If you need to get things working immediately, you could try installing Zotero for Firefox, or see if the Chrome Connector works. We'll be releasing a new version of Zotero Standalone and the connectors shortly, either toward the end of this week or…

What version of Word are you using? Also, can you provide a report ID after re-triggering the error?
-
This may be obvious, but have you tried clicking the Refresh button in the Zotero toolbar in Word? If that doesn't work, try closing and reopening Firefox and then clicking the Refresh button.

I've moved the thread, but if you continue to ignore our instructions, you're unlikely to receive any further help. You need to tell us what instructions you've followed and whether you can open the Zotero pane and create items manually, and you nee…

Zotero is working in Firefox 5 and 6 for me and for nearly everyone else on this forum. This thread is about issues specific to Firefox 6 beta. If you would like us to troubleshoot your issues, please start a new thread and provide a report ID.

...however, if the Compiz focus prevention level is set to "Low" (as it is by default), the Add Citation window still doesn't acquire keyboard focus when it first appears (although it is raised above all the other windows). This will require some X1…

Try installing the Zotero MacWord Integration Trunk XPI. You will want to manually install the next version of Zotero MacWord Integration when it is released.

Can you provide a report ID?

Are you using track changes?

The error in your error report is: An item in this document is missing from your Zotero library. Are you seeing another message ("Item %1$S in this citation no longer exists in your Zotero database.") before you get an error? If so, what are you cli…

With Firefox open, open /Application/Utilities/Terminal and type (or copy/paste) the following: ls -lad ~/.zotero* /Users/Shared/.zotero*Press return and post the output here.

mce, is this the download from Mozilla or a package? You an enable debug logging without opening the preferences by going to about:config, setting extensions.zotero.debug.log to true, and restarting Firefox.
-
Marthina, can you provide a report ID after re-triggering the error?
-
I believe I've fixed this on the extension trunk.
-
It occurs to me that the reason I can't reproduce this may be that I'm running Ubuntu in VMware, and so I'm not using Compiz. I'll try a native install.

Try deleting localstore.rdf in your Firefox profile directory. If that doesn't work, does the {Citation} field in Word disappear if you press escape after clicking the button to add a citation?
-
http://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_troubleshooting#could_not_create_java_implementation_loader has our current knowledge of this issue. We can't fix it because it's a bug in OpenOffice.org.

Read this and delete Zotero.dot.
-
xulsolar, that's a problem with your specific system. Start a new thread.

The Zotero Word for Windows plug-in won't run on Linux. You might be able to run Firefox under WINE and get it to work, but this isn't tested or supported. It would be better to use OpenOffice.org or LibreOffice with the associated Zotero plug-in.

The basics are already available on the trunk, albeit disabled by default. Sean took a couple screenshots here and here.

The "classic" add citation dialog is being replaced for the next Zotero release. The new dialog will make it much easier to select citations, so this may not be necessary. But if we did want to implement it, we could make typing "Ibid" select the pr…

The URL of the PDF in the second report is the same as above. What happens if you go to that URL on the computer that won't download the PDF?
