Is the data folder still on the external HD? Did the drive letter change?
-
Is it a network drive? Also, what OS are you using? What version of ZSA?
-
Is your preference setting still pointing to the new location? Might you have made the change with Z for FF and then today used Z Stand Alone (and didn't change the the preference location)...or vice-versa?

Update: First of all: I'm off the beta. It got too buggy at the wrong time. Now I'm on Z 4.0.24. Now, when I click on the individual journal icon in the URL bar, the item imports correctly, as a Journal. However, if I import the same item (or mu…

Just to be clear - you see the article icon in the URL bar, but it imports as a magazine? Is that right? That is correct. Thanks! P.S. I'm having a problem posting this reply. It says "There was a problem authenticating your post information." I'm…

While we are on the EBSCOhost translator (ATLAS database)... Lately (when it was working) the Item Type is "Magazine Article" instead of "Journal Article." I doubt that makes any difference for citations (does it?), but it's a bit annoying, and m…

Well, actually, I hadn't tried other translators. Amazon and Google books work. World Cat does not. Any others I should try?

Did you restart Firefox? Did that take care of it?

Have you tried sorting by Date Added?

Great! Thanks!

@adamsmith, will the RTF/ODF scanner work with Pages? http://zotero-odf-scan.github.io/zotero-odf-scan/

Have you rebooted your computer? (Just checking for the obvious, first).

What problems are you having? Please be as specific as possible. Have you worked through the links on this page? https://www.zotero.org/support/ Edit: Oh, and welcome to the forums!

Meanwhile, you can disable pdf indexing by changing Maximum characters to index per file to 0 and also max pages to 0 in Preferences/Search. This allows you to add pdfs without a delay. Then, at somepoint when you choose, reinstate the indexing nu…

Firefox 10.0.4 is pretty old. Try updating to the current Firefox (32.0.3)

So, apparently, you do not have a full backup of your entire hard drive?
-
If you are already viewing that collection, it doesn't highlight. Is that what's happening?
-
I'm not sure if it has anything to do with it or not, but first I'd upgrade to the most current version of Z.
