Sounds like you know what you're doing, since you had gone through the steps to symlink the storage folder, so you know that the data directory itself should not be _synced_ using third party sync providers. If this is just for backup and not sync, …

FWIW, the alternative KeePass Firefox extension KeeFox does not seem to have this issue. So, at least until this is fixed on PassIFox's side, you can try using that.

Why was the addon named RTF/ODF Scan? I thought there was an RTF component to it, no?
-
That was me who referred you here, not adamsmith, but no worries. First thing you should do is make a backup of both of your libraries, just in case. https://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data#backing_up_your_zotero_library Then, you want to chang…

We'll see what that error is, since it should work, but see https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/29010/merging-old-and-new-libraries-citations/ for a better way to merge libraries. We should update the KB article.

Is JSTOR also accessed over proxy?
-
PDF imports will not currently work when using Zotero Standalone and accessing websites via proxies. Sorry.
-
Not sure why @zuphilip can't replicate this, but this is a known issue with WorldCat data (which is where Zotero looks using that ISBN). WorldCat uses Unicode NFD form, which produces "decomposed" characters (i.e. ü is u plus an umlaut, rather than …

What changes to about:config did you make exactly and where (standalone or Firefox)? https://www.zotero.org/support/supported_languages should really work and reinstalling will not change anything. Please respond in a new thread.

Either https://github.com/jlegewie/zotfile/releases or https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/zotfile/versions/

Could the browser plug-ins for Zotero warn you if you are going to do this? Or could Zotero Standalone alert you when you are adding a duplicate and give a "cancel/merge-newer/merger-older/keep-separate" option? There's some technical discussion here…

See the link in adamsmith's post above. We need a debug log, not an error log. The ID for that will start with a D.

That's actually coming straight from their RIS export (dropdown menu next to Download PDF -> Citation). It would be best to report this directly to PLOS and have them fix it on their end. If PLOS doesn't want to address it, we can try to fix it s…

Should be fixed now. Update your translators via Preferences -> General -> Update Now and try again.
-
Pull request here: https://github.com/zotero/translators/pull/813 This one won't happen super soon, because as it stands now it needs a Zotero update.
-
Pull request here: https://github.com/zotero/translators/pull/814 Will let you know if it gets accepted.

By "hits" do you mean page loads? Can we get an example URL of a page that does not produce a Zotero icon?
-
To elaborate more on what adamsmith is saying, you should open up Zotero Standalone (which it seems that you were using before) and see if the items show up there. If that's the case, then it appears that Zotero Standalone was not syncing with your …

What OS are you running? That seems like an odd file path for Windows (though it's possible that it just gets needed up in the error message)

Could you take a screenshot of the bibliography? Generally, it should follow the "Normal" style in the document (more accurately, it's formatted using the Bibliography style, which derives from Normal) Edit: you can upload the screenshot to Dropbox…
-
Are you using Zotero client (in Firefox or Standalone) or the zotero.org website? You can only retrieve metadata from the client, but "uploading" should work in either. If you're using the client, see https://www.zotero.org/support/reporting_problems
-
If you place your cursor in the bibliography and click "Edit Bibliography" does anything happen (don't actually edit anything)? Have you tried removing and re-inserting the bibliography?
-
After you add it to Zotero

How about here? http://www.worldcat.org/title/inquiry-into-the-nature-and-causes-of-the-wealth-of-nations/oclc/167332 See https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/no_address_bar_icon

Actually, it's a Zotfile bug. See https://github.com/jlegewie/zotfile/pull/162

caseName should just be title Edit: in theory anyway. though I see you say it doesn't work above. Sounds like something for fbennett to fix.

For reference https://github.com/zotero/zotero-connectors/issues/28

Actually this is not going to be a quick fix. That website doesn't have a dedicated translator and is being picked up because of DOI. In the mean time, I would suggest using the Add by Identifier button (magic wand) in Zotero to add the journal arti…

Thanks for reporting. Working on a fix.

Add appropriate language code to the Language field in Zotero. (e.g. fr for French, de for German) then refresh bibliography.
