I'm not sure that was ever a Zotero option (though I could be mistaken). It may have been some Zotero add-on that introduced such an option. In any case, it probably used to do what right-clicking the page and selecting "Save to Zotero" (or somethin…

Note that you probably don't want to be inserting "nl" for all of the entries in Zotero. It's _supposed_ to be entered only for references that are Dutch. If you're writing in Dutch, you will probably want to use a Dutch citation style, or (since C…

Check your windows settings under Control Panel -> Region and Language -> Administrative -> Language for non-Unicode programs. We're aware that this setting doesn't make a lot of sense, but that's what Mozilla (the underlying technology tha…

Should be fixed now. Update your translators via Preferences -> General -> Update Now and restart your browser. Let us know if it's still not working. When you scroll over the URL bar icon, you should see "Zotero (ProQuest)" in the tooltip. L…

See "How do I backup my account?" at the bottom of the page here. They allow you to download a ZIP file of all your references in RIS format along with all the PDFs. Not sure if the PDFs will be linked to in the RIS file though.

Right, we would gladly take a pull request for that translator from FLOW. I'm just saying that if they made it work for FLOW, the same translator will work for Zotero (in theory anyway), and vice versa.
-
On a side note, seems like ProQuest's Flow would be at a better position to make this translator work, seeing how Flow uses Zotero's translators anyway. Not that I mind working on this... just a thought.

It's redirecting me to conquest when I follow the link above.

Actually, I was just having some session issues. Looks like the translator is working fine on http://www.conquest-leg-insight.com

So after logging in, I get redirected to http://www.conquest-leg-insight.com Is that supposed to happen? I thought this is being migrated to li.proquest.com/legislativeinsight I see that we do have a translator that used to work on conquest and the…

yes, got it. That works. Thanks! Looking at the website now. Mind if I share the credentials with adamsmith? Or did you send him credentials as well?
-
Also, by "could not access" we mean the actual content. Obviously the website loads.

It's an IP-based login, but if you want to do that for the whole university... my IP is within 165.124.40.XXX You can contact us in private if you want to provide some sort of other means of access. aurimas.dev/at/gmail

These databases require institutional subscriptions. Adamsmith and I both access databases through Northwestern University and NU only subscribes to history vault.
-
I have access to history vault, but it doesn't look like we'll be able to (easily) support it. I don't see any export options and the layout is quite different from other databases. No access to LI though.
-
Actually, could you be more specific about the database you're referring to? Is this for History Vault? Historical Newspapers? Something else?
-
There was a recent change actually which could have broken this. Could you make sure your translators are up to date via Preferences -> General -> Update Now, then restart browser and try again.

This could happen if two people edit the same collection at the same time (I believe it has to be the same items being either edited or removed on two different computers). Unless you and your colleagues are performing overlapping edits literally at…

No, there's no way to do this. There's generally no meaning to the sorting in a RIS file, so unless you propose some convincing reason, I don't see this getting implemented.
-
My files are directed to the Dropbox file. I turned Dropbox syncing too when I grap things. If by this you mean that your Zotero data directory is inside a Dropbox folder, then this is not a supported configuration. You need to move your data directo…

I'm not really sure what multiple references are supposed to look like in this format. Edit: or do you mean that even if we don't consider multiple references with locators.. I think I see your point.

We can also discuss new features on a less technical level on the forum, but technical details on implementation would be best to post to the google group.

(save an exported copy of my library)Follow this: https://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data#backing_up_your_zotero_library Though it's quite unlikely that reinstalling Zotero will do anything. Let us know when you put your system back into a state…

That error message is a bit outdated and pre-dates the availability of Zotero Standalone. For all intents and purposes, when you see Firefox referenced and you're using Zotero Standalone, it's actually referring to Zotero Standalone. Having said th…

That error should have nothing to do with syncing. (it can only be triggered by dragging-dropping items). Have you tried restarting Zotero to clear up any leftover tag references (shouldn't happen to begin with, but could be a quick fix for you)?

Start a new thread and provide more detail (what translator, what modification). In general, the translators are located inside /translators folder. Most file names match translator names.

Dan, could you take a look? Is there anything suspicious in there?

Dan, could you please take a look at the log?
