Which word processor are you using? Provide a Report ID.
-
Did you perform any custom formatting or insert unusual elements before the bibliography started duplicating? What citation style are you using? Could you look through Google Docs version history and identify when the issue may have started?
-
Chicago (full note) will automatically format repeat citations in short-form. You might need to hit Refresh in Zotero tab if you have disabled automatic citation updates to see that.
-
You should remove the bibliography and all its duplicates completely, then see if the citing speed improves. Then try re-adding the bibliography and see if you still have any issues.
-
Submit a Debug ID from Zotero for an attempt to insert a citation. Could you temporarily try working with a different browser (Firefox or Chrome) and see if you still the issue there?
-
See Reporting Problems, and provide full steps to reproduce this in a new document, with the official install of LibreOffice from their sources. Linux has an infinite number of possible configurations, and we cannot possibly support for every one of…

Disable other extensions in your browser, then restart it and see if this issue still occurs. Does the Zotero menu in Google Docs load, or do you not even get the menu options? If the menu loads, do you get a Please wait... screen when choosing one …

@jiversen Unfortunately due to limitations of the Safari extension framework we cannot improve saving from the article listing page.

@malsaffa Would you follow the final step of Troubleshooting Errors in Word Processor Documents and send a snippet that reproduce this error to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread?
-
Install the latest stable version of LibreOffice from their website (not your distro repositories).

Can you say precisely how you created this document from scratch, step by step? Does the citation style or items which you choose for citations matter?
-
The bibliography formatting is set by the Bibliography style in Word. Zotero changes it to have appropriate formatting when you choose the citation style for your document. If you've since edited it, then the formatting might be wrong. You can make …

Does your project folder or project use a customized Normal.dotm, or use a custom Word template? That most likely interferes with the Zotero tab from appearing.
-
The two citations that disappear have empty citation data, which is why Zotero removes them. Unless you have an idea how this document was produced that could have caused this kind of corruption (like restoring from backup, or some changes with trac…

Can you reproduce it in a new document? Could you submit a Debug ID for the Refresh which makes the entry disappear?
-
It's possible that you've added the item to the bibliography manually. Use the Add/Edit Bibliography option in the Zotero menu and press "Revert All", to reset any changes you've made to the bibliography. You can also manually remove the reference f…

Submit a Debug ID from Zotero for the following procedure: 1. Restart Zotero and refresh the Google Doc. 2. Enable debug logging 3. Attempt to update your document with Zotero 4. Wait for at least 5 minutes 5. Submit a Debug ID from Zotero 6. Post i…

It seems that there's a bug with host associating code. We'll fix this with the next version of the Zotero Connector.
-
In Zotero Connector settings, Proxies, if you select your proxy under Configured Proxies, is "Automatically associate new hosts" checked?
-
See Reporting Problems. Provide steps to reproduce and a Report ID

If it does not happen again when you override the document lock, you can ignore it. This can happen if you close the Google Docs tab or your browser while Zotero is updating your document.
-
Could you submit a Debug ID for loading an unproxied website, then right clicking the Zotero button and choosing Reload via Proxy, and waiting for the page to load fully?
-
Try disabling other extensions in your main profile and see if the issue disappears. Also see https://www.zotero.org/support/troubleshooting_translator_issues

Zotero matches the desktop session provided preferences for window button placement on Linux. Do other applications on your setup have minimize and maximize buttons? Does Firefox (on which Zotero is based)?
-
Could you submit a Debug ID from Zotero instead of Zotero Connector?
-
Unfortunately we're unable to use a different format due to technical limitations in Word. You'll have to ask your IT to relax this requirement.

The most recent version of the Connector saves the snapshot for me. @testplayer Can you confirm you are still seeing this issue (will not work in Incognito for now).
