LibreOffice plugin installation failed upon upgrade to 9.0 - Report ID: 24954793
Report ID: 24954793
Hi,
Working in Mageia linux 9:
Linux Octopus 6.6.130-desktop-1.mga9 #1 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Thu Mar 26 01:48:01 UTC 2026 x86_64 GNU/Linux
I have just downloaded zotero 9.0.0. Extracted tarball on top of the previous version.
Automatic installation of LibreOffice (LO) plugin failed with message:
"Installation could not be completed because an error occurred". (Besides, it leaves LO locked, have to manually delete .lock file)
Manual installation from LO gets a message box with the only text:
"(com.sun.star.lang.DisposedException) { { { Message = "Binary URP bridge disposed during call", Context = (com.sun.star.uno.XInterface) @7fdce802a7a0 } } }"
However, after restarting LO the plugin appears installed in settings. In LO Writer, the zotero bar appears but with no icons, only text buttons. No Zotero item in the menu bar. However, the plugin works OK.
Hope that can be solved

Upgrade Storage
Version: 25.8.3.1 (X86_64)
Build ID: 580(Build:1)
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 6.6; UI render: default; VCL: kf5 (cairo+xcb)
Locale: es-AR (es_AR.UTF-8); UI: es-ES
Calc: threaded
Worked only with manual installation, but showing the com.sun.star.lang.DisposedException message.
