Try disabling other extensions and seeing if it helps

This is certainly coming. Issue created.

2) Zotero's Word integration is currently slow in large documents and there is no way to convert Zotero citations into somethign static to speed this up. I would generally recommend, authoring book manuscripts in chapter anyway, though (I think Word…

You should switch to LibreOffice. OpenOffice has been abandoned by the developers for the most part and will certainly be not supported by Zotero in the future.
-
Seems like you're using Firefox 55. That's a little far down the line right now and we're not providing support yet. You'll have to downgrade to the stable version.
-
I am afraid that there is little that we will be able to offer on our end. From the debug output it seems that everything works fine and without serious hiccups or slowdowns up until the point, where libreoffice simply crashes. What's worse is that …

As Dan explains in this post: The 5.0 package does include a Unity desktop file, which can be symlinked to /usr/share/applications/ or ~/.local/share/applications/ and added to the launcher from there. There's also a set_launcher_icon script that ca…

We've actually been having this discussion recently and are planning some changes to the Document Preferences interface. I've added your suggestion, thanks.
-
I've changed zotero.desktop to support import via "open with" in linux. You can either wait for the next beta revision or update your local copy of zotero.desktop
-
The debug output shows high activity in full-text indexing. @dstillman will need to look into this, but as a temporary non-solution you can try disabling it by setting the number of characters to index to 0 in Preferences -> Search and seeing if …

Could you submit debug output and post a Debug ID for an operation that takes a long time (say, deleting 5 entries)? We'll take a look.
-
@bwiernik No release date for now, but in some not-too-distant future for Zotero 5.0 @Rintze yup. Will also be available for LibreOffice. Word for Mac users will have to wait as there is some friction on Microsoft's side.

I am not sure what the problem is that you are describing. Is the item pane on the right missing? Restarting Zotero will restore it, or you can try dragging the little bubble on the right side of Zotero towards the left of the window. If not, take a…

1. Citation information is not being imported with PDF either from google scholar or electronic databases like Proquest. This is largely dependent on the information source and whether it provides PDF access. If you can access the PDF information ma…

Download the Zotero Client and set up syncing

Zotero citations are incompatible with EndNote and vice-versa. You can always switch to Zotero on both machines, of course!
-
Are you using the Beta Connector for Firefox? That will probably fix the problem, although we have not tested whether the connector fixes https proxy issues with 4.0. If it does not you'll have to switch to Zotero 5.0 Beta.
-
Are you using Fields or Bookmarks to store citations in Word? With Bookmarks there's a chance a citation somehow got corrupted and interferes with citation-free text. A refresh might have fixed that.
-
What version of MacOS are you running on this macbook? This is not a usual recommendation, but have you tried restarting the computer and reinstalling Zotero Standalone?
-
Could you generate a Debug ID for clicking the "install..." button?
-
That really shouldn't happen. Could you take a screenshot of the pane where you don't get an option to install the extensions and post it somewhere online (dropbox, imgur, etc.)?
-
In Preferences -> Cite -> Word Processors do you have an option to (re)install the Word extension? What happens when you try to do that?
-
Back up your Zotero data directory and update anyway. We cannot provide support for the version of Zotero that is over 5 years old.
-
You are running an extremely outdated version of Zotero. The first thing to do is updating.
-
The idea on Opera is that the icon appears in the URL bar only when Zotero has available translators. We might update this shortly though, to match the experience to that of Chrome and Firefox Connectors.
-
See (and continue, if you like) the discussion in this thread

Seems like a bug in Zotero 4.0. This will be fixed in the upcoming Zotero 5.0 and Firefox Connector, for which Beta versions are available. If you don't want to use the Beta, however, you should either just delete the proxy and allow Zotero to detec…

We have had quite a few reports of this happening and I'd like to get to the bottom of this. Was Zotero.dot not appearing in tools -> templates -> add-ins at all? Or did you only try looking for Zotero.dotm there? Is there anything peculiar/sp…

@fmuro Sorry it took so long. I couldn't reproduce a month ago, when I was testing this, with the URLs I had, but adamsmith's URL reliably reproduces the problem. A fix for indicator/hang should be out shortly. Regarding the snapshots I have not ma…
