@xeclipsed it seems like the debug ID doesn't capture you pressing the shortcut. You should enable debug logging, perform the copying action (make sure it worked and you can paste the citation in a textfield somewhere), then submit the debug log.

Are you behind a proxy? Have you tried downloading the installer with a different browser? It may be worthwhile (re)installing .NET and VC redistributables.
-
Completely uninstalling the JDK and reinstalling the JRE might be worth a shot and usually fixes it. This is generally a LibreOffice problem -- if you get this error, you won't be able to install any LibreOffice extensions, not just the Zotero one.…
-
Do you get the "The application was unable to start correctly" error upon running the installer or is it after installation when trying to run Zotero itself?
-
Are you on a 32-bit version of Windows?

Sorry about this, we have some fixes in the pipeline for the issue, but haven't pushed them out to the public yet. Expect Zotero Connector 5.0.25 to address this, which should come out within weeks.

that line should be http://www.zotero.org/styles/apa-edited I got the steps right. The issue is specifically caused by the previously edited APA style id having been set to http://www.zotero.org/styles/apa/edited (Zotero attempts to download a mis…

Right. This is a bug we'll fix, but in the meantime, you can make it work by following these steps: 1. Go to your data directory/styles 2. Make a copy of apa.csl named apa-edited.csl 3. Edit apa-edited.csl with a text editor (like notepad) and chang…

Could you submit this as a single debug ID? No need to stop and enable again for the prompt.
-
Could you submit a Debug ID for pressing the document preferences and dismissing the dialog? If the dialog has multiple options, please press the preferences button multiple times and click each option once.
-
JRE should be enough and 151 is the latest version and while JDK should technically work, it may be worth installing the JRE, selecting it in LibreOffice and trying again.

Could you submit a Report ID from Safari?
-
You're probably better off working with the document before the initial change of the citation style and following the debugging instructions.
-
Could you submit a restart debug log (Help -> Debug Output Logging -> Restart with Logging Enabled...)? Then after a restart submit the log under Help -> Debug Output Logging and post the ID here.
-
What do you mean by "its on the original one"? Can you post the output again (after XXXing) of the correct command?
-
@dbilberry it works ok for me with the URL that you have posted before. Could you submit a Debug ID from the Connector capturing the failed save? EDIT: Don't worry about it, I managed to reproduce.

The OS terminal. You can find it with Spotlight or under /Applications/Utilities/Terminal.app
-
Open the terminal, paste ls /Users/Shared/.zoteroIntegrationPipe*; ls ~/Library/Containers/com.microsoft.Word/Data/.zoteroIntegrationPipe and press Enter. Copy the output and paste here (it contains your username, if it is sensitive, you can XXX it …

Could you submit a Report ID?

Why did you need to install the toolbar manually? Is Word plugin present and enabled in Zotero -> Tools -> Add-ons?
-
If you can insert bibliography in a new document, then run through the document debugging instructions. Otherwise, if this is a bug with Zotero 4.0 (although we are not aware of any such bugs), then you should begin by updating to Zotero 5.0, since…

Could you submit a Report ID from Zotero?

See https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_troubleshooting#debugging_broken_documents

Please see https://www.zotero.org/support/forum_guidelines#etiquette I'll echo the community responses. The additional "me too"s specifically for Google Docs integration are certainly unnecessary -- we are very aware of the importance and benefits …

As per zuhilip's recommendation, you need to expose the metadata in a format that Zotero understands https://www.zotero.org/support/dev/exposing_metadata A good start is embedded metadata and COInS, and you can look into writing a translator if you…

Yes. Please follow the section labeled Zotero Connectors.

This is a debug ID from Zotero. Please follow the instructions for Zotero Connectors.
-
Update to the latest version of Mac OS Word (15.39 currently), then reinstall the plugin from Zotero Preferences pane.
-
Hmm. Could you submit a Debug ID (see instructions above) for inserting the first 4 citations as displayed in the video?
-
You could submit a Debug ID for refreshing the page (i.e. enable logging, refresh the koha page, then submit the log) and we can take a look.
