Zotero translators update immediately when repo is updated, so clicking Update Translators in the Connector should be enough. Otherwise the Connector checks for translators every 24hrs and if Zotero is not running, updates from the repo. We have som…

Ok, let's try this version. https://github.com/adomasven/zotero-word-for-windows-integration/archive/test-v120xp-vs2013.zip For what it's worth, you can use these files in the interim, which use the older versions of the libraries and shouldn't cau…

@rmsiriba if you try to run the Zotero macros when Zotero is closed do you get a prompt saying that Zotero is not available?
-
Ok, lets try this fix. Follow these instructions carefully: 1. Open zotero installation folder (default C:\Program Files (x86)\Zotero) 2. Navigate to extensions\zoteroWinWordIntegration@zotero.org 3. Download test-v120xp-runtime.zip 4. Remove the c…

Just to make sure, did you generate this Debug ID by opening a tab with one of the URLs you have posted above and refreshing the page? If you did, could you open https://www.researchgate.net/publication/236695192_Revolutions_Have_Become_the_Blood…

This is on our radar and should be fixed soon.

And if you try to reinstall from Preferences -> Cite -> Word Processors, you get the error? Could you produce a Debug ID from Zotero for the reinstall? 1. In the Help menu, go to Debug Output Logging and select Enable. 2. Go to Preferences …

Do you see the Zotero toolbar in Word and when you click the buttons do you get Zotero windows, like style selection and citation window?
-
Open Finder and press Command-Shift-G. Paste the following /Applications/Zotero.app/Contents/Resources/extensions/zoteroMacWordIntegration@zotero.org/install Press enter. Do you see Zotero.dot file in the directory?
-
This is on the computer that you see the crashing on?

In Zotero go to Tools -> Add-ons, what is the version of the Word Integration plugin?
-
What is the exact message that you see?
-
You will have to thoroughly follow the step 8 of the troubleshooting instructions. I.e. cut the document in halves until you can insert citations. There is no automated way to fix the issue if you've followed all the steps up to 8.
-
I've created an issue for this, but not clear when we get around to fixing it.
-
Try reinstalling Zotero.

For everyone else, who have checked that Zotero Word for Mac Integration is present in Zotero Tools -> Add-ons and Word, you have Word 15.41, are on High Sierra 10.13.2 and it still doesn't work: could you go to the Word startup folder zip the Zo…

If you go into Options -> Customize Ribbon, enable Developer tab, then in the Developer tab click "Macros", do you see Zotero related Macros? What happens if you run them?

This has been fixed. Provide a link where you see the problem and submit a Report ID https://www.zotero.org/support/reporting_problems
-
You are using the Insider version of Word, so you should either report these issues to Microsoft or downgrade to the stable 15.41 release.
-
@eanimmons could you go to the Word startup folder, zip the Zotero.dotm file and email it to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread?
-
What version of Word?

It seems that a recent (latest?) update to macOS High Sierra broke Mac Word 2011. Microsoft has announced that it will not support Word 2011 with High Sierra and things may begin breaking as changes are made in the macOS. I don't think the toolbar f…

Do the buttons work if you select "Enable all macros" and restart?
-
In the Trust Centre for Word, under "Macro Settings" check "Disable all macros with a notification" and under "Add-ins" ensure all checkboxes are unchecked. Then restart Word and see whether you get a notification to enable macros and whether once e…
-
You should ensure that Macros are not disabled for Add-ins in Word. In Word Options go to the Trust Centre and check the macro options under Add-ins.
-
The Debug ID contains Zotero loading from startup, not the pressing of the Word button. Please follow the procedure above.
-
Redownload and reinstall Zotero to start
-
Have you tried: - Restarting your Mac? - Reinstalling via Zotero Preferences -> Cite -> Word Processors? In Word menubar do you see a script icon to the far right with Zotero actions?
