@Lucie%20plagne what citation style are you using?
-
Yes, check it and try again.
-
In document preferences is "Automatically update citations" checked? Does it fix itself if you check it?
-
@DWL-SDCA this is definitely our bug, as seen from the debug logs that pah67 has submitted. No need to unnecessarily stress over malware before confirming that the software works as intended.
-
If you put the cursor on existing citation numbers and press Add/Edit Citation do you get the Zotero prompt with the cited items or is it empty?
-
You seem to have enabled debug logging after editing/inserting the citation. Could you produce another Debug ID by enabling the logging before clicking add/edit citation in Word? Note, that clicking refresh will produce a full rewrite of the docum…

@Olivia%20Herman 1. What operating system and word processor (including version like 16.10) are you using? 2. How many citations (approximately is fine) do you have in the document? 3. What citation style are you using? 4. How long (in your recall/…

@pah67 1. What version of word processor? E.g. LibreOffice 6.0, Word 16.10 2. Author-date or footnote/endnote version? 2. How long in your estimation did updates used to take before the update? Matter of a few seconds or minutes?
-
(Also, we seem to be doing an unnecessary number of citation text updates on refresh, which will be fixed in the next version and improve the refresh speed when automatic updates are disabled)

From the page linked above: When you insert a citation into a document using Zotero’s word processor plugin, Zotero needs to scan the entire document for citations to ensure correct formatting. Citation style requirements such as ibid or name disamb…

On my Macbook I get a different version of ScienceDirect than on my Linux machine. On the Macbook all browser behave the same (load the ScienceDirect translator) and fail to download the PDF. When I click on the Zotero button to save, the "Download …

Please follow the debugging broken documents step 8 and isolate the snippet that causes the bug, then email it to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread.

@dameisraa Please follow step 8 from the debugging instructions linked above, isolate a broken citation and send it in to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread. I understand that this is probably too late for your deadline, but your help wil…

Please describe in greater detail what the problem is. See https://www.zotero.org/support/reporting_problems
-
Does it work well in a new document? If it does, and I'm sorry this is the case, you will have to follow step 8 of the debugging instructions. There is no automatic solution in case of corrupt citations.
-
In Connector Preferences -> Advanced click Reset Translators and see if that helps. If not, please submit a Debug ID for clicking the Reset Translators button and waiting for 10 seconds or so.
-
How big is your document? Try running through document debugging instructions.

@Benj1 Could you download the Beta build of Zotero and see whether the issue is resolved (i.e. whether inserting with a footnote based style works without adding the footnote manually first)?
-
See this thread https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/70482/libreoffice-5-and-zotero-integration
-
See step 8 of the document debugging instructions.

Go over each citation of this author/work, click Add/Edit Citation, remove the cited item and re-add it from your library. It is not clear how this had happened, but you either had accidentally removed the item from your library and then re-added i…

@Benj1 can you do this one https://gist.github.com/adomasven/4f798acb84afdf4803370f66f6d0f6ca ?

What version of Zotero and what version of Word (like 16.10) are you using?
-
EBSCO generally works with Zotero, so you will have to be more specific about the problem that you are seeing. See https://www.zotero.org/support/reporting_problems
-
Do you have multiple Word documents open at the same time? Can you produce the crashing at all if you only have one document open?
-
Could you submit a Report ID?
-
Not possible. Why do you want this, though?
-
We had stopped supporting OpenOffice and NeoOffice with the release of Zotero 5.0, since the development on those two suites has essentially been abandoned, although I see, that NeoOffice has been somewhat revived since, although it is still based o…

1. What is the citation style that you are using? 2. Have you been trying to change the citation style? 3. What kind of errors are you getting that require restarting word? What you are describing in (5) shouldn't be needed, but it is still not cle…
