@Jessbrennan there will not be a bug fix, since this was an issue introduced by Word, and technically Word is producing corrupt documents when using their programming interface in a legitimate way, which we had to work around. You will have to reins…

Do you see Zotero.dotm under Global Templates and Add-ins, as described in Zotero word plugin troubleshooting page?
-
Run through the debugging broken documents steps.
-
@lisaleine Before proceeding, you should repeat the step of saving the .odt file in LibreOffice with Bookmarks to .docx, then opening the document in Word and seeing if the conversion works now. If it does not, please produce a Debug ID from Zotero:…

@bnctest this shouldn't help. If you cannot see the Zotero tab, launching as Admin shouldn't help. It might help if Word fails to communicate with Zotero. When launched without admin, do you see Zotero macros under Developer -> Macros?

If you want Zotero to maintain paragraph properties, you will need to create a paragraph style for those paragraphs.
-
Unfortunately Word 16.9 and later introduced some changes that have made Zotero integration significantly slower. You can go in the Document Preferences and disable automatic citation updates, which should help. If possible, you could also try worki…

Word version 16.9 broke Zotero integration. We updated the plugin to work with Word 16.9 on Zotero 5.0, but if you were using 4.0, you did not get that update. You will need to reinsert any citations that Zotero does not recognise (when removing cit…

Good work in debugging. You could try reporting this to the Document Foundation and seeing whether they have something to say. The issue is that when the Next Style is not the Style itself, the ParaStyleName of ParagraphProperties returns something …

So LibreOffice seems to be struggling with the name of Thesis Quote style for some bizarre reason. As a test, could you recreate the Thesis Quote style from scratch, name it something else, and try inserting a citation in a paragraph with that new s…

As far as we know there are no issues with the current Mojave beta and Word integration. As for your document, you have 400+ citations, which will make integration slow, especially on MacOS. Zotero integration on Windows is generally quite a bit fa…

Could you send the extracted buggy citations to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread?
-
I am afraid the Word 16.9+ update that hit at the start of this year really slowed down Word integration, I believe for Mendeley too. The speed of insertion depends both on the number of citations and the size of the document and is largely out of c…

Have you tried reinstalling the plugin from Zotero Preferences -> Cite -> Word Processors? If that doesn't fix it (test in a new doc first), then try manual word plugin installation
-
Does it occur in a new document? Could you describe the steps to reproduce the bug in a new document and what exactly do you see that is wrong?
-
@bwinston35 Your Word still has the old Zotero plugin installed. You need to go into Zotero Preferences -> Cite -> Word Processors and reinstall it. Check if it works in a new document after that. If it does not, try manual plugin installation

Can all editors add entries from their own libraries? Yes Can I add a citation to a reference from my collaborator's library without access to their library directly? This is the same as sharing documents with your colleagues. The citation dialog wi…

Whatever is the initial path of Zotero Connector preferences (i.e. moz-extension://d94a6103-af42-498b-a95a-f7a93ceb020c).
-
Unless you can add an exception for the Zotero connector, I don't think there's much that can be done here.
-
Have you tried saving again? It failed for me before verifying and once after verifying, but then after trying to save again (you need to refresh the page, to initiate another save), it works for all PDFs on the site.

@mchau does it occur in a new document?

Does it happen in a new document?

Does it work in a new document?

In Zotero Preferences -> Cite -> Word Processors reinstall the Word plugin. You will need to completely remove and reinsert the problematic citations. This is due to the changes in Word 16.9, which introduced bugs with Zotero integration. For …

What happens if you remove and manually reinstall the LO plugin? https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_manual_installation#libreoffice

Try running Zotero, Word or both as Administrator.
-
Restarting Zotero should do it, if not, run through the debugging broken documents steps.
-
You should go into Zotero -> Preferences -> Cite -> Word Processors and (re)install the Word plugin, after which you will have to manually remove these citations (make sure to remove at least one character surrounding them too) and re-inser…
