I'm afraid this is now coming down to the specifics of your document on why you're hitting this error. There is nothing in your debug log indicating that you are running into this issue because the processing time for the document is too long (one c…

Did you edit the citations on the document extensively today? It is possible that you have hit a personal google quota for API calls which is why you're getting the error.
-
Have you worked on the document extensively today? Does citing work in a completely new document?
-
Could you email the smallest snippet of the document that can still produce the error to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread? If you are using a custom citation style please attach that too.

While we have had reports from some users who wrote documents with over 1000 citations with Google Docs, the number of pages and citations you are working it are still a fairly uncharted territory and even desktop word processors like Word or LibreO…

What is the error that you see and where do you see it?

Could you be more specific by what you mean with "it will not access sources for me to put them into my library"?

Highlighted text is indeed removed when performing any of the Zotero commands in Google Docs. Unfortunately that is not something that we can fix due to technical reasons, but it's a minor issue that we're not too concerned about. Thanks for the he…

@cgianolla Ok we have deployed a fix for the Beta version of the connector for the copying problems. Could you test it and confirm it works as expected now?
-
Can you reproduce this in a new document? If so, what are the steps precisely? Which browser and which citation style are you using?
-
What's the specific version of Word (e.g. 12527.20278)? Could you create a new user account on the computer and see if it citing works there?
-
Have you tried restarting your computer? Did it used to work fine on this computer before? Any idea what changed on the system? What is the specific version of Word that you are running?
-
Did you launch Zotero for the first time from the disk image (instead of moving it to /Applications)? If so, go into the Zotero profile directory and remove extensions.json, then restart Zotero.
-
Having imported from Endnote is very unlikely to affect this. Could you install the Zotero Beta and generate another Debug ID for an edit which does not show cited items in the citation dialog? Could you try testing in a new user account on your Mac?
-
This is a known bug which will be fixed in the upcoming version of Zotero. The current manual fix is to go into your Zotero profile directory and delete extensions.json.

Are you sure you are not normally running Word as administrator for some reason? Did you perform any updates or troubleshooting for a different problem with Word before this started? If you create a new user account on the computer and try citing wi…

Are you running either Zotero or Word as administrator? If not, could you test by running both as administrator to see if it fixes it? Note: running either program as administrator normally is not recommended, this is just a troubleshooting step.

I have tested copying and pasting in the documents (private copies) that you have shared and it seems to work fine on my end on Chrome. Every time after cutting and pasting I get a "Zotero is updating your document. Please wait" overlay and after th…

Do you have any idea what changed on your system between the last time you worked on this document with Zotero? Any system or word updates? Does it work in a new document after you restart Zotero? Does insertion work fine? Could you temporarily cre…

Also make sure that your User Account has permissions to edit the Word Startup folder. It might not if you had opened Zotero or Word as Administrator at some point. Deleting the Word Startup folder and retrying the plugin installer in Zotero Prefere…

The first order of operation would be to make sure Windows and Office are updated to their latest versions. If it still does not work could you produce a Debug ID from Zotero for the file on the local drive? 1. In the Zotero Help menu, go to Debug …

There is now a newer version of Word 16.16.20. Updating would be the first thing to do there. After that, check if you can reproduce the problem in a new document.

Is the document stored on OneDrive? Does it work if you move it into local computer storage?

If you have the connector installed and enabled in the browser copy-pasting should work fine. Could you share a copy of the file with which you have been reproducing this problem with support@zotero.org as well as the specific version of the browser…

@ktoljan Could you open Console.app, select Crash Reports on the right, then type "ZoteroSafariExtension" in the search, copy the last crash report, paste it on pastebin.com and post a link to the paste here? @wrrrr Could you close Safari, delete Z…

@Kbs2066 Also note that if you have done extensive customization to your ribbon layout the instructions above might not work as something may have gone corrupt. As a last resort you could try moving your Normal.dotm file away temporarily for testing…

Thank you for the answer. That's really unfortunate, one would think that Zotero would have the best support for LO as it is open source. I wonder if I go and file those as bugs in libre office if it will help?I believe there is a bug filed for Refe…
