PDFs need to be attached to metadata -- see https://www.zotero.org/support/adding_items_to_zotero#adding_pdfs_and_other_files for how to do this in various situations.
-
I can't tell you how this happened but you can: 1) Disable automatic sync 2) Make another back-up of your data directory just to be safe 3) Restore from your back-up 4) Make sure your _group_ library looks alright 5) In the Zotero preferences und S…

Zotero unterdrückt doppelte Interpunktion, setzt also kein Semikolon nach einem Punkt. (APA rät von f. und insb. ff. übrigens ab).
-
Zutilo seems fine for this, though? There are no wrong use cases, but surely you'd agree that non-programmatically getting item keys for use in an Application Programming Interface isn't exactly standard usage?
-
Nothing to do with paying for storage, no. Can you say more precisely what you did? I don't think there's a way to restore a group library that's been deleted on the server (although you may be able to restore its contents).
-
One quick way is to not use a search but instead just sort by Date or Year in the middle panel.
-
We always need a URL for items your saving from. If this is Sciencedirect, I'm not sure if saving PDFs directly will work. You'd want to save from the article landing/abstract page

Direktes einfügen von Zitaten ("annotations") ist jetzt in der Beta Version.

Posting here is fine; core devs read all threads, but note that this isn't a bug (in the sense of "unanticipated erroneous behavior"), it's a feature request. As I say above, ISBNs are just not treated differently from any other search field. The r…

(please don't use Zotero's GitHub for bug reports)

Look at the author-short macro and fix the given name there
-
APA and Chicago styles do this automatically. It's basically disambiguate-add-givenname="true" givenname-disambiguation-rule="primary-name-with-initials"

This is going to be hard to figure out without a current example that you can reproduce. It's possible that depoxifying doesn't work when saving as a webpage with snapshot, but that wouldn't have appeared to be the case for the other screenshot you …

The account will revert to 300mb, but you'll have some time after your affiliations end to buy a subscription (I don't think Zotero is super clear on that part, but they don't constantly verify email addresses). Even after your storage subscription …

The issue is that you're using an old Zotero version and the solution would be to update.
-
What's the date added on the first one?
-
It should never be saved. Do you have an example where it currently does get saved?
-
I don't work for Zotero but I'm not aware of any work on this, nor has anyone mentioned work on this, so it's unclear to me who is getting anyone's hope up? Zotero devs rarely comment on feature requests unless they're actively being worked on or th…

I'm skeptical here -- we'll turn a prominent style into something almost no one actually wants. Almost no items in Citing Medicine actually follow that format, the DOI items mostly don't... The style guide is a bit of a mess with lots of optional it…

Zotero imports the most complete name forms available from whichever page it's saving from. The best way to get full first name are high quality sources -- using the published landing page is typically good, though I do get full first names on most …

Are you sure there are items in the group, i.e. can _they_ see items in the web group library (not their local version in Zotero Desktop, which may not have synced)?

@jkuo11 -- please update the plugin to version 3.1.0 (I've also fixed updates now, so using check updates in plugins should suffice) and dark mode should work properly and docx scan should work for items in footnotes (the docx format saves footnotes…

Could you email me a . docx file produced by Scrivener? I'm assuming that's the problem. Also, try opening and saving the docx in Libre and see if it scans then

Did you down download a lot of articles from Sciencedirect? You're being blocked (status 403 means "not authorized") Import from https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1359645423001891 works fine for me
-
By default, Zotero will auto-abbreviate journal titles using a word list and an algorithm. That breaks if you have them in all caps, so you'd want to fix that. If you want to disable automatic abbreviations and have it fall back to the Journal Abbr.…

Definitely presentation, yes.

Really hard to say in the abstract. You can do a _lot_ with API keys. You can pair a FLOSS Zotero fork with a closed source AI server for which people have to pay (beaver.ai, the Zotero plugin, does roughly that). There are also likely some grey are…

Likely it's just https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/comment/509576#Comment_509576 we'd need to see ISBN examples to say more
-
Thanks -- yeah, it's the COinS metadata on the page. I need to look more closely to say more, but that's definitely what's causing the weird import. It might be possible to write dedicated support for the library catalog/discovery layer; it's an odd…
