You are trying to install the file in Firefox, aren't you? You need to save the xpi file first, then via Zotero, Tools -> add-ons -> Tools for all Add-ons (upper right) -> Install from file

@donnie-yen please follow dstillman requirement. Losing all styles is not normal behavior.

@bwiernik If I am not mistaken, the "Springer - Vancouver (brackets)" style lists the first six authors followed by 'et al.', not the first three.

Thank you for your reply. I can confirm with all the DOIs following the same pattern. Are you planning to revert the way DOIs are imported? I don't like to use the Firefox add-on as it imports a lot of unnecessary files.
