I've noticed the same thing as @tillmanjex. The (Author, year, page) link links only to the PDF, but the (pdf) link links to the actual annotation on whichever page it is. Clearly those need to be corrected.

Second the idea of @DigitalResearch to allow customizing the format of the highlight & annotation in Note, just like [zotfile]. I'm using Zettlr, not Obsidian, and the creator's workflow is very similar to mine, so the ability to edit out color…

I'm also on board with this. I'm trying to get into a workflow of Highlighting/annotating on my iPad, extracting the annotations on my desktop to Markdown, then taking those Markdown annotations in Zettlr. This is the workflow that the creator of Ze…

I've been experiencing the same issue. One desktop PC and one Laptop, both fully updated Win10 x64 (latest 20H2 updates). Zotero 5.0.97-beta.24+833ee1051 Really annoying, and I also haven't found anyway to make it go away except by moving the mous…

It wouldn't sync until I shortened it. That is, until I shortened it on Zotero on the desktop, I could only get an icon with a question mark on iOS. After shortening, the iOS icon changed to the download arrow and is now a regular PDF after download…

OK, had to search through some documentation to find out how to do that. Thanks. This also helps with syncing attachments to the iOS app, which seems to be limited by filename length. Shorter filenames sync, longer filenames don't. This is a good so…

@jvoros How can I do that? I only see the Renaming option until Zotfile options, and your pattern won't work there. I don't see an option in BetterBibTeX to rename files. Thanks

@dstillman I found that by shortening the filename from Tochon-2013-A brief history of video feedback and its role in foreign language ecuation.pdf to Tochon-2013-A brief history of video feedback.pdf The file was able to sync. This seems to ind…

@dstillman Any update after 6 days?

Started logging, then tapped on the file, long-pressed on the file. Opened the info, tapped on the attachment and long-pressed on the attachment. Debug ID: D1795489543 Adding a tag and syncing on a Win10 machine makes no difference as to the attac…

I started the app, then attempted to sync. Then clicked on the entry, the pdf, etc. Is there some special way to download the file? Like I said, it's got a question mark on it, so the fact that it doesn't download on sync and I can't download it any…

Is this the URL you want? https://www.zotero.org/[account]/collections/9FKJVELY/items/FLJPQSEM/attachment/FKAL54CP/collection Debug ID from the iOS Beta app: D310272868 I just set up Zotero Beta on Computer B and synced. The attachment downloaded…

I'm experiencing this problem. I was previously using WebDAV, but I just bought (a few hours ago as of the writing of this post) a Zotero subscription so that I could annotate PDFs on my iPad. I'm able to open the attachment from my web library. Th…

Yep, saw that in another thread. Had to update Zotero, and it's working again. The page labels also seem to have been fixed/sorted themselves out. Great work! Thanks!

I've emailed a copy of the PDF in question to support@zotero.org I deleted the Extracted Annotations note. Then I manually went through the annotations in the left-hand panel and changed the page numbers to be accurate. Now when I try to add an ite…

Finally! Been looking forward to this for some time! Just got a new iPad Air 4 to try it out, too!

Bumping this, as I'm also curious. There's no indication of how to edit the (%(cite) so that annotations are in APA format as opposed to the default.

Sign me up for beta testing an iPad app!

I concur with max1836 in starting a new thread. I dislike these forums, in general, and wish there was better organization/tags/etc (that's another rant), but it would be nice to start a new thread for each release, perhaps with a list of "Added/Sti…

The address in the Zotero sync preferences should be webdav.pcloud.com:443 (the https:// and /zotero are already there). See https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/webdav_services That said, I also occasionally receive the http 500 errors, but I've foun…

I can confirm that Papership is working with pCloud, although it's not ideal. It does seem to have some problems syncing (freezing, going through the motion of syncing but not actually downloading things), so it's a bit off and on. I also can't seem…

I've moved over to pCloud because Box webdav is going away at the end of this year (https://community.box.com/t5/Box-Product-News/Deprecation-WebDAV-Support/ba-p/55684). I haven't tested Papership with pCloud yet, but I'm hoping that it works, with …

You're right; it seems to have fixed itself. Thanks!

Thanks @dstillman. The beta connector cleared things up for me, as well. I don't have the First Party Isolation add-on, but I do use the new Facebook-Container add-on. I guess the underlying architecture must be very similar.

| I'm not sure what you're referring to. PaperShip for iOS hasn't been updated since 2016. Papership received a small update at the end of last year. I've been testing Papership for ~6 months or so. It wasn't working last year, it's still not work…

I found my username in box.com Profile (not sure that's a username or just an identifier). Anyway, I tried it, but I get the same error message.

As an addendum, I should note that a lot of my references have "Notes" attached because I take notes on the references and share them with others (outside of Zotero). I'm guessing these notes are taking up a great deal of space. Still curious if the…

I think I may have the same problem. I sync my library with Webdav on box.com. I've confirmed that everything is uploaded and synced across my devices using Webdav. The 'zotero' folder on box.com is 1.7gb with all my files. However, my Zotero stora…

Just tried it. Still not working - I can't get it to recognize box.com. I've tried both the box.com option and WebDAV option, but it doesn't seem to want to recognize any address, username, or password I put in.
