RE better author management I like the way, this is done in Citavi. They provide an interface for certain field types where you are presented with all entries in your db for that field type and tools for merging and editing the entries. This exists…

EU regulations and directives are often implemented as statutes in styles that do implement them (technically they are the equivalent on EU level to national legislation which is represented as statutes, too). The other documents are more difficult.…

Yes, the wording with the negation is confusing. They chose it because in the manual, the “n. d.” is highlighted with italics :)
-
I can confirm that the above is exactly the wording from the manual. I just checked it.
-
I'd go with book section too, when you're using Chicago. As far as I can tell, only some Austrian and Swiss legal styles for Jurism implement that item type. Any other style would produce unpredictable results.
-
Je ne suis pas sûr si c'est toujours strictement nécessaire du point de vue technique mais il a toujours été impossible d'ouvrir les deux en parallel. JurisM ne diffère guère de Zotero et il est même possible d'opérer les deux avec un seul profil Z…

This should be legislation, no doubt, but the style module wasn’t prepared for that. A fix has been committed but it is waiting to be included in the software. You can install it manually by downloading two files. You need to install them in folder…

Pull request: https://github.com/zotero/translators/pull/2479 For anybody wondering: K10plus is the result of the merger of two German consortial library catalogs (GVK and SWB)

If this needs to be printed in a specific way, it might just make more sense to enter it as an issue number rather than a date? Right. In the actual case this works. It might however conflict with no-date-rules (which don’t exist in the style the re…

Re styles: while EN styles are easily customized, they are quite limited with respect to functionality. CSL styles, on the other hand, offer much more like real conditions (e.g. checking for presence of a field), much more sophisticated punctuation …

- The connector is available for Chrome too. - Switching from Zotero to Juris-M _without_ synchronization might break things, I had two people run into trouble. For the time being I definitely recommend activating synchronization before switching. -…

Thank you!

I can confirm that it's not reliable atm. I have no idea if it's Zotero's Word-add-in or the citeproc's functionality which is confused here.
-
I will try to replicate this, but might not be able to do so before Monday. Do I assume correctly that you’re trying to achieve something like "BGE 123 III 456, siehe auch BGer 12345, 123" (numbers completely made up)? It is possible that some chec…

I support the idea of an indicator in the middle pane for items with related records, ideally with the functionality of a link to the related tab.
-
I hope, this will be added soon to Juris-M. For the time being, the file was moved to https://github.com/georgd/style-modules/blob/wip_eu/juris-eu.int+cjeu.csl
-
Great! @evolin have you seen my private message? I don't mean to push. Just asking as I know from my own experience that those messages are too easily overlooked.
-
Juris-M can do this. The relevant attribute is called no-repeat (see https://citeproc-js.readthedocs.io/en/latest/csl-m/index.html#no-repeat-extension). It should be implemented in a style-module.
-
It’s solved for you, so just for the record: - You can open both at the same time but it can’t happen by accident. - Another issue with Zotero and Juris-M in parallel which I remember now: using a Word document with Zotero first and switching to J…
-
Usually, you wouldn't have to uninstall Zotero to use Juris-M. I experienced this issue too, but only when having both applications open at the same time.
-
Hmm. When I tried it, the citation was created, however in front of the note, I'd have expected it rather following the note.
-
IMO, this is a style error caused by setting punctuation in affixes instead of as group delimiters. As the item has no author, the orphaned comma of some subsequent element’s prefix is showing up.
-
I think, you’re already using the right resources. But Frank is probably not be the right person to ping here. @adamsmith is among those with most experience, pershaps he might know whom to ask? As you remarked that it doesn’t work in Zotero either …

I can confirm the same behaviour. Now I doubt that it was done automatically back in October. Although I don't remember doing so, I might well have linked them by hand.
-
That's not good. I'm not at my computer at the moment, so I can't test right now. But it definitely worked on 22 October 2020 with Jurism on this page: http://www.bailii.org/uk/cases/UKSC/2019/41.html — altogether, 7 items were created and linked au…

Just to make sure that there is no misunderstanding: it's not my code, I just found it :)

Hi, I'm far behind you with my attempts at translators but I think, I can at least point you at a working example: https://github.com/Droitslinguistiques/translators/blob/master/BAILII.js for British cases seems to do that nicely. Relevant lines are…
