Thanks @adamsmith for taking over. Exactly what I meant. I thought it was practical (and intentionally reduced in functionality) but as you say @dstillman it was probably only useful in this one case :)

All but the two plugins that were already Z7 compatible a while back, were disabled here and couldn’t be updated automatically. I had to choose the xpi file from Github manually for Zotero Better Notes for it to update. This can be done from inside …

Since its upgrade to v6 Jurism has been signed.

:) ok, this sounds even better than I imagined. So the CSL issue is not really one.
-
So, it is possible to overwrite an existing site translator?
-
BBT loads separate translators for sites where other translators exist already? It's true that there's only a couple of separate translators in Juris-M at the moment but there's a couple more which need to be added. Any source of legal texts poten…

When the functionality of JM is included in a plugin for Zotero it will be necessary to work the CSL schema, as well. As CSL-M extends among others fields and types, translators in JM partly fill different fields than those for Zotero. I don't thin…

Technically, the correct type would be statute. Juris-M implements them consequently so, but Zotero styles vary a lot in implementing legal types. Therefore, depending on the target style you might need to adapt the entries.
-
While the regulation type makes sense, for EU regulations it is not necessary as the schematics for citing EU regulations and directives are identical.
-
Why would you need to change it to normal hyphens in the end? In that place I'd logically expect non-breaking hyphens anyway. Provided there are no font-related issues, I'd keep them.
-
RE better author management I like the way, this is done in Citavi. They provide an interface for certain field types where you are presented with all entries in your db for that field type and tools for merging and editing the entries. This exists…

EU regulations and directives are often implemented as statutes in styles that do implement them (technically they are the equivalent on EU level to national legislation which is represented as statutes, too). The other documents are more difficult.…

Yes, the wording with the negation is confusing. They chose it because in the manual, the “n. d.” is highlighted with italics :)
-
I can confirm that the above is exactly the wording from the manual. I just checked it.
-
I'd go with book section too, when you're using Chicago. As far as I can tell, only some Austrian and Swiss legal styles for Jurism implement that item type. Any other style would produce unpredictable results.
-
Je ne suis pas sûr si c'est toujours strictement nécessaire du point de vue technique mais il a toujours été impossible d'ouvrir les deux en parallel. JurisM ne diffère guère de Zotero et il est même possible d'opérer les deux avec un seul profil Z…

This should be legislation, no doubt, but the style module wasn’t prepared for that. A fix has been committed but it is waiting to be included in the software. You can install it manually by downloading two files. You need to install them in folder…

Pull request: https://github.com/zotero/translators/pull/2479 For anybody wondering: K10plus is the result of the merger of two German consortial library catalogs (GVK and SWB)

If this needs to be printed in a specific way, it might just make more sense to enter it as an issue number rather than a date? Right. In the actual case this works. It might however conflict with no-date-rules (which don’t exist in the style the re…

Re styles: while EN styles are easily customized, they are quite limited with respect to functionality. CSL styles, on the other hand, offer much more like real conditions (e.g. checking for presence of a field), much more sophisticated punctuation …

- The connector is available for Chrome too. - Switching from Zotero to Juris-M _without_ synchronization might break things, I had two people run into trouble. For the time being I definitely recommend activating synchronization before switching. -…

Thank you!

I can confirm that it's not reliable atm. I have no idea if it's Zotero's Word-add-in or the citeproc's functionality which is confused here.
-
I will try to replicate this, but might not be able to do so before Monday. Do I assume correctly that you’re trying to achieve something like "BGE 123 III 456, siehe auch BGer 12345, 123" (numbers completely made up)? It is possible that some chec…

I support the idea of an indicator in the middle pane for items with related records, ideally with the functionality of a link to the related tab.

I hope, this will be added soon to Juris-M. For the time being, the file was moved to https://github.com/georgd/style-modules/blob/wip_eu/juris-eu.int+cjeu.csl
