Hi all, Does anyone know how to fix the "composed-last-name" matter I reported above? Zotero exports inappropriately the author name (when this one is composed) in the bib file: "Yves, Le Tallec" have to be exported as author name= {Le Tallec, Y…

Thanks Tjowens :)

Hi, I haven't found any bug report on that. I hope it will be fixed in the 1.5 version cause to my mind it is a serious matter when you work with latex and Zotero

Can anybody confirm this?

Issue in author names format in bibtex. Some author names are composed (Prof. Le Tallec, Yves). The complete last name is Le Tallec. The exported bibtex format for the author name field is as follows author name= {Yves Le Tallec and ...} resulting …

A short feedback on the Water Science and Technology style. - There are 3 spaces between authors name and the publication year (under MS Word). BTW thanks again for Zotero, with LaTeX2e it's really easy to export in BibTeX format and use it afterwa…

Still with the ACS style :) As some journals in the ACS publication require superscript and others citation number in parentheses, it would be advantageous to get on option in the ACS style to set the reference number either between parentheses or …

Little up for the Energy & Fuels journal style http://pubs.acs.org/paragonplus/submission/enfuem/enfuem_authguide.pdf It strongly looks like the ACS except: "Reference numbers in the text should be given as unparenthesized superscripts." BTW I…

Feedback: The ordering works for a multiple citation when all citations are done in one step. If you edit your citation list and for instance add a new citation item, then the ordering doesn't work. I'm currently running the 1.04 with MS Word 2003

Hi, I would need a style for the Energy & Fuels journal http://pubs.acs.org/paragonplus/submission/enfuem/enfuem_authguide.pdf The style is very close to the ACS style (cause the Journal is published by ACS) except: "Reference numbers in the te…

I'm really happy to read that.

In the ACS style, There is a tabulation right after the citation number in the bilbiography part. I guess it should be after the right parenthesis, before the first author name.

bdarcus: Thank you for the Water Science and Technology style. Just two feedbacks For instance: ref: (Allen, Braithwaite, et coll., 1997) biblio: Allen, M. R., Braithwaite, A., et Hills, C. C. (1997) Trace Organic Compounds in Landfill Gas at Sev…

bdarcus: you're right 7.7 The abbreviation "et al." should be used in the text when there are more than two co-authors of a cited paper. thanks for your help Do you know how far is the project to get a personal style editor ?

I'm sorry, I forgot the link ... I posted that on morning... my mistake http://www.iwaponline.com/wst/i2a.htm obvious differences are - the number of author names in the ref., only one and then comma followed by the publication year. - in the bi…

I'd need (before April the 15th would be great) the Water Science and Technology style which is very close to the Water Research style (almost a duplicate)

I 'd need the Journal of Photochemistry & Photobiology style. http://www.elsevier.com/wps/find/journaldescription.cws_home/504091/authorinstructions thanks

I don't know how to convert all fields in text under MSWord in a simple way. EDIT: By now, I know : CTRL+SHIFT+F9

Still in the ACS style :) ... and certainly in others ... For multiple references, sometimes it is perfect and formatted as follows: ----- (4-7) and sometimes it is like: ---- (9,8,7,10) I've changed the order in the multiple reference selection bu…

I've just noticed in the ACS style that a word wrap happened in the biblio between each reference. It looks like: (1) ------ (2) ------ and it should be with a double space line in the paragraph format not a word wrap (1) ---- (2) ----- BTW thank…

About the ACS style In the bibliography part, when using the abbreviated name of the Journal, there are two points between the journal name and the year. One has to be removed. All the best

Does Zotero work with Springerlink ? On mine, the import logo doesn't show up on the web page of an article...

I have the same problem when I'm out of my campus, but that's a SciFinder licence matter. I use either Google Scholar or directly the editor website in that specific location case For the browsers, I can't help you. I'm on a XP platform it works fi…

I don't think it is directly possible through SciFinder. However, when you have an article of interest, follow the HTML link to the publisher through Firefox and here you are. That's how I'm dealing with SciFinder and Zotero

About the American Chemical Society it groups dozens of journals with different styles. http://pubs.acs.org/about.html For each journal there is an author guideline PDF file that resumes the way to deal with the style; for instance with Langmuir ht…

Apparently it's an old thread (summer 07) but still an up to date consideration. I haven't seen the 1.5 release but I've noticed that the blog talks about the join effort of Zotero and the Internet Archive group. The year 2008 is mentioned. Is it s…

ACS journals and most of all; an end-user interface for style creation; it would transfer that matter from the zotero dev to the zotero community which is bigger.

editX support RELAX NG validation; for those interested. http://macmegasite.com/node/1793 How far are we from an easy-way to create/modify personal styles through a end-user interface ?

I'm interested in creating citation style (for few journal of chemistry). Once the CSL file is done, we have to validate it by oXygen or nXml. Is it possible to do that with a simple xml editor as editX ? Is there currently a repository where w…
