Have really wanted this feature for a decade. Please make it happen. If not, it would be nice to have some insight from the developers about why it’s undesirable or harder to implement than it seems.

I have also tried to replicate the original problem by adding lone-PDF items to my Zotero library from iOS, but they all keep syncing correctly now. So unfortunately I cannot figure out a way to replicate the original problem anymore.
