I checked again to make absolutely sure. This is what I did exactly: I went to http://rspb.royalsocietypublishing.org/content/271/Suppl_6/S477.short and saved the article using the "Save to Zotero (DOI)" icon in the location bar. Then I expande…

Thanks, Dan!

Here is an article which can be saved, but the PDF is not attached. But you already explained that this is the expected behaviour. http://prl.aps.org/abstract/PRL/v32/i15/p862_1 However, saving the article from my previous post doesn't work at al…

Example: http://prl.aps.org/abstract/PRL/v104/i4/e042701 (first article from current issue) It says Save to Zotero (DOI). So when it says DOI then PDF aren't saved. OK. Sometimes saving doesn't work at all until I restart Firefox (like now). …

Not sure what happened. After disabling and enabling a single extension (Flagfox, to find out if it was the culprit), it started working. Perhaps it was because of restarting Firefox, not disabling/enabling that extension? Anyway, it works now.

This happens even in a completely new profile, with only Zotero installed (no other extensions, except Microsoft .NET Framework Assistant). Note that you have to type into the search box to trigger the problem. http://img114.imageshack.us/img1…

Jon, I have not yet had any problems with this setup. However, I did not add many things to Zotero during the past weeks (only used it for reading), and I mostly used it on Windows. Also, I only sync with Zotero's service (manually), and have not …

However, before I actually do this, may I ask which version of Zotero you use (1 or 2), and how upgrades that also need to "upgrade" the database (perhaps this means changing its format?) were handled? If one Zotero install is upgraded and also…

Thanks for the reassurance, Jon

Can anyone else reproduce this? With an empty Zotero database the tags do not show up at all in the Tag Selector. With my older Zotero database some strange characters appear before the tag name. Another page where this problem is present…

Thanks! This is very useful! :-)

Yes, I know that I can control how Firefox opens PDFs. I know about PDF Download too (though I did not find it very useful, and it does not work when PDFs are opened from Zotero). As I said, when viewing PDFs online, it is advantageous to us…
