Ok - that was my misunderstanding; I thought it duplicated the PDF. I still think, though, it would be nice to have an ability to see available tags when you're tagging a document to ensure consistency. I'll post this as a separate suggestion.

I paraphrase my annotations (original annotations I've copied-pasted from the PDF) into my own words, and when doing so, I manually insert the in-text citations. Is there a more efficient way of doing this? Open to suggestions!

I've been having weird results with a search, too. I tried to search by Creator for "Ti et al." but did not get a hit on that even though I know I have an item with that as the Creator.

Say I have paraphrased notes (not from a PDF), some of which are highlighted. Is there a way to filter for those highlighted notes? Akin to filtering by highlight color in an Excel filer drop-down?
