Understood. Hard to do for SDS / material spec sheets which aren't articles, but I'll make do. PS - Thanks for the prompt fix.

Switched to Connector beta. Repeated steps, was able to save the LHS-1 page, PDF. Good. However, parent item not created. Is this expected behavior with Save to zotero.org ? (Had Logging running, here is relevant output: D1309349814)

See posts above for more detailed context. When troubleshooting another issue, I revoked credentials. That may have been the trigger that prevents Save to Zotero.org. Now, I have also erased private key while trying to fix this before initially p…

Here you go. I do have my other extensions back on, but pretty sure that isn't the issue. D1810192849

Interesting, I just toggled off Automatically download PDFs and now I can save snapshots to zotero. Actually got pinged for credentials this time. (Does not work if the page is already classified as PDF)

That's great you found something, but seems to not be the root of my problem. The issue isn't just PDF for me. Even save as webpage with snapshot will resolve to a red X and say Zotero is not connected. I'm still not getting asked for new credenti…

Disabled all extensions, re-enabled Connector. Still fails to add and does not prompt for new credentials despite having no current private key.

Looking at forum history, have confirmed you think this is a bug which should have been fixed at least two years ago. Please fix! Thanks.

Still hoping this UI quirk can be improved. Hopefully it is not much work on the backend?

Have tried to replicate with completely new journal article and even without troubleshooting mode, aka plugin enabled, the error does not happen. D1554731936 I'll keep trying to replicate the error, but until it happens I won't be able to just keep…

I only have one that is truly enabled (it replaced the previous one when updates broke it.) It does not "move" but copies. https://s3.amazonaws.com/zotero.org/images/forums/u10211737/x2hjha1rdqy8kg56yw3g.png

Was not able to replicate this with the same item after permanently deleting from my library & trash. and doing add from browser plugin again. Will keep trying. Like I said, it seems random! D1273871581

Before I try that -- if I disable plugins, will I still be able to use the browser plugin thing to add an item? I know they're different programs, but just checking cause not everything is worded exactly how it is meant :) If so I will try. It's ha…

1 - gotcha. hope that happens soon! 2- now I understand why mystery items are appearing as selected. Ugh, duh! thanks. 3 - by second issue do you mean the lagging response? I will learn how to do a debug correctly and try to reproduce. I just rest…

Same issue. Zotero 9.0.5 Win 22H2, build 22621.1992 Microsoft® Word for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2605 Build 16.0.20026.20140) 64-bit

Hmm, actually, that didn't work right. It looks like I can't use the nasa git repo for Overleaf, it's a pretty complex file structure and I'm just getting more lost. I was able to configure everything but how the author names display, and that's jus…

Oh, wow, I just realized that .bst isn't biblatex! No wonder. I guess I didn't consider that I had the option of using anything other than the provided template, which is obviously silly. The whole point of open-source is... yeah. I just swapped in…

Yeah, the Zotero export does look mighty good. Perhaps I'll just have to build a new bibtex file from Zotero main, at the very end from whatever is sourced. Undesirable, but better than the mess of floating commas I have now. There's no way to optio…

I had no reason to assume what seemed like a design choice was actually a bug which needed reporting. I agree it would be less annoying if everyone could communicate on a forum in the singular way you prefer, but working in a global community make…

Also, why are you imposing opinions about a previous comment into your reply to a polite request in an original, unrelated post? There's nothing even close to rude in my OP above, it's polite and asks you to consider reinstating something that from …

Perhaps we don't have the same dictionary. Having a negative opinion on design is not equivalent to harming someone, and hardly verges on inappropriate. I've never called you a name, or implied violence. I express discontent with superfluous whitesp…

Just an observation, your reply is awfully spicy and defensive as a reply to someone you've never interacted with before, who was genuinely providing information about the troubleshooting (two hours of it) they've already performed trying to solve i…

PLEASE add an option to hide the tab bar. Such a waste of space. A whole bar, just to redundantly say My Library.
