I have the same problem. Running 7.0.8-beta.1+e754fa0c4 on Mac with Catalina 10.15.7 and Word for Mac 16.66.1. Was all working fine until yesterday or day before then started inserting space before reference number in in-line cites. My understandin…

Great. and thanks for taking pity on those of us who have carefully upgraded the bits and pieces of our somewhat old Macs without feeding Apple!

Just did it again: Restarted in Safe mode, deleted Zotero b91, emptied it out of trash. Restarted in safe mode. reinstalled b101(7.0.0-beta.101+220bb4383) and sad trombone again Z symbol flickered and then gone and no Zotero connector for Safari. An…

Help me Rhonda, help, help me Rhonda, help me Rhonda help help me Rhonda Help me Rhonda, help me get her out of my mind.

Now working fine with Z Mac 7.0.0-beta.91+3c6625f3c Afraid Z will auto-update and I will lose Safari function.
-
Right! Thanks much. It is indeed Word to Word. And just to be sure will try it with duplicated Test docs.

Wondering if in EndNote one can get Bibliography end note reference numbers that can actually be clicked on and bring you back to the referring text in a word doc. As a medical writer I use the NEJM format with Zotero and this doesn't work in Word. …

Found that macro "ZoteroLinkAuthorDateCitations @gwyn-hopkins," but looks too complex for me and also potentially fragile. Would really be amazing to have the note capacity for the NEJM type numeric style. The Chicago Manual type style just wouldn't…
-
Got it. That makes sense. Is there a medical style you can recommend that mimics the NEJM style but preserves the back reference linkage for cursor and page focus to the text?
-
Has anyone else gotten this feature to work and if so how??
-
It does work in native endnotes created directly in Word for Mac, but not in the Zotero endnotes. If I double click on the endnote number the entire text becomes highlighted (see below) and nothing at all happens in terms of cursor movement back to …

In Word for Mac, that doesn't work. Not sure why -- I had expected it would.

You are SO right!! I uninstalled and then shut down restarted and put in the new beta 51 and all is well. Thanks again for the great support!
-
Uninstalled and went back to Beta 46 which works fine. Will just leave it at that.
-
Also Beta 51
-
Sorry I meant 49
-
Beta 46 appears to have left it off again
-
And you’re correct — I log into the New England Journal site before trying to add a citation.

Works perfectly in Chrome. Bummer that Safari connector is buggy since a lot of us use Safari.
-
Not sure what EZproxy URL is. Will try with Chrome.

Now with beta 46, Z installs connector in Safari but does not DL PDFs reliably did one article but not the second one. Debug ID from Zotero D1106707268 URL for failed article was https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMcibr2307735

Taking a break since away for a week. Maybe beta 45 will fix it all!
-
I’m running beta 40 since beta 44 breaks Safari connector on my old Mac 2012 on Catalina

I believe you, but would ask you to believe me when I say it vanished!! May have been a bad move on my part -- honestly can't remember since I was in a bit of a frenzy. Overall software works great! Running beta since I'm on Mac Catalina and Safari …
