Zotero 7 Beta 44 Breaks Safari Connector in Catalina

Was running fine on 7.0.0-beta.40+24ae34104 but connector no longer seen in Safari Preferences in

7.0.0-beta.44+64a78412c
SafariVersion 15.6.1 (15613.3.9.1.16, 15613).

Restored the beta 40 from time machine and connector is present and working.

@jwilentz: Oh, it's not appearing in the preferences either? That's actually probably just a build problem, with the old macOS versions not included for the latest beta build. We'll fix that in the next beta, but honestly I don't know that we're going to keep maintaining separate versions for this, so I would recommend updating to Big Sur or later if your hardware is compatible (which it is unless you're still using one of several 2012/2013 Macs).

But Beta 45 restores Mojave and Catalina support for the Safari extension.

Uninstalled and went back to Beta 46 which works fine. Will just leave it at that.

No, we're now setting the minimum version for betas to 10.14 in the build script — it's set to 10.14 in beta 51. If you're not seeing the save button, it's likely just the other issue.

You are SO right!! I uninstalled and then shut down restarted and put in the new beta 51 and all is well. Thanks again for the great support!
