Zotero 7 Beta Connector in Safari working fine but not downloading pdf from New England J Med

Works fine on other platforms such as the journal Circulation, but not with NEJM. Any ideas?

Are you trying to save from the first or the second URL? Generally you should use the article URL, i.e. the 2nd one.

We'd want a debug ID from Zotero (not the connector) for saving that item. See https://www.zotero.org/support/debug_output#zotero

I’m running beta 40 since beta 44 breaks Safari connector on my old Mac 2012 on Catalina

Now with beta 46, Z installs connector in Safari but does not DL PDFs reliably did one article but not the second one. Debug ID from Zotero D1106707268

That works for me via an EZproxy URL, but in Safari we're not able to get full cookies, so if you're connecting/authenticating directly, the site might be doing some kind of authentication that won't work with the Safari Connector. If that's the case, I'm afraid you'll need to save from a different browser.

Works perfectly in Chrome. Bummer that Safari connector is buggy since a lot of us use Safari.

It's not "buggy" — Safari just doesn't provide access to the full page information. The Safari Connector is much more limited in general. If you want full features, use a browser that makes that possible (i.e., any of the other mainstream browsers).
