Zotero 5.0 Proxy failure

I have no problem with the zotero connector when ezproxy is off ( e.g. at work)

Could we get a couple of sample URLs where this happen? I'm still skeptical the proxy is the problem here rather than something else.

Hi. I recently updated to Z5, and I also have this problem - no notification when a proxy is used, nothing appears in the "Configured Proxies", and if I try the address without the proxy it doesn't redirect. I'm using 5.0.23 with the Firefox connector, under Lubuntu 16.04.3 LTS. Does the lack of activity on this thread indicate other people's problems were solved? Here are two URLs:

Have you tried manually adding the proxy schema, i.e.
http://%h.insb.bib.cnrs.fr/%p

This works, but I have to add each site manually (Nature, ACS,..).

right, that's no good. I thought it might auto-detect once you've added the schema.

I just tried a third site (webofscience), and this time it worked! Maybe something changed when I turned off/on overnight, to initialise it?
