delete the citation, where it says updating and create a copy of the google docs. then it is working fine in the original document

In google docs, when I click on the Zotero menu, either nothing comes down, or there's a tiny little space that drops down, but no menu like there ought to be. Ctrl-Alt-C doesn't bring up the dialog

Note that these aren't equivalent. If they're using Word or Google Docs, they'd want to use the plugin, not Quick Copy.

I've tried downloading Zotero like 10 times. I will delete and download again. It shows on my google docs, but says "The Zotero Connector was unable to communicate with the Zotero desktop application.

Can you open the Chrome developer tools (View → Developer → Developer Tools) on a Google Docs page, switch to the Console tab, copy the contents, paste them somewhere, and post a link here?
