  2. Slow Citations on LibreOffice

    by adomasven · March 17, 2021
The Linux LibreOffice and Zotero integration is perhaps the fastest one out of all the possible combinations, so this is something very specific to your configuration. I don't have many ideas here sin

I'm running Zotero 5.0.96 with LibreOffice 7.1.1 on Arch 5.11.4.
  4. [FEATURE REQUEST]: Option panel for the extension in LibreOffice.

    by adamsmith · March 16, 2021
No, the answer you got there is almost completely wrong. Zotero has specific LibreOffice code and isn't application agnostic.
  5. [FEATURE REQUEST]: Option panel for the extension in LibreOffice.

    by giammi56 · March 16, 2021
Apparently, the lack of configurability of the extension for LibreOffice results in a sub-optimal experience, where not all features are accessible.

Zotero does not have such a feature, but perhaps a user wrote a LibreOffice macro to do so.

We don't support OpenOffice and haven't in many years. You should use LibreOffice, which is much more actively maintained.

Is this also LibreOffice? We weren't able to look at this, so no solution on our end.
  10. Footnotes fail in LibreOffice. Report 114597044

    by adomasven · March 8, 2021
Zotero only ever sets 2 styles for LibreOffice - the Body style and the Footnote style in footnotes and if either of those have a Next style set it will break. This bug has been around for a long whil

    by adomasven · March 8, 2021
You're likely using the "Next style" parameter in your style which triggers an old LibreOffice bug. See this thread: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/73067/zotero-integration-error

Check the Advanced pane in the LibreOffice preferences. LO doesn't use its own Java.
  13. Footnotes fail in LibreOffice. Report 114597044

    by wrknowles · March 6, 2021
I thought that LibreOffice used its own private java, but I don't see where to find that out.
  14. Footnotes fail in LibreOffice. Report 114597044

    by wrknowles · March 6, 2021
In LibreOffice, Insert Footnote does not fail with any in-text formats (APA, CMS date, or custom developed intext formats). It appears to fail with all footnote and endnote formats (CMS and a number o

What version of LibreOffice? Does it happen in a new document? This isn't a general problem.
  16. Does Zotero work with the online version of Word in Office 365?

    by lhuppe · March 2, 2021
I do all of my work locally in LibreOffice with Zotero and then export as office 365. I then upload to the office 365 server at work or at school. The office nerds don't even know that I did that.

After an update of LibreOffice, the Zotero Extension doesn't work anymore on LibreOffice. I uninstall everything, Java, Zotero, LibreOffice and it still not work. I don't understand why but the Zotero

I noticed I use zotero 5.0.96 and libre office 7.1.0.3 latest version, but for plug in I downloaded Zotero LibreOffice Integration 5.0.23. Do you think the problem could have been with the plug in?
