Slow Citations on LibreOffice
On large documents in LO, when I try to insert a citation, the quick dialog takes 10s to appear and it doesn't load cited items. Actually doing the insertion takes much longer (60s+; I haven't timed it). Smaller documents seem to have the same problem but scaled down in proportion to their size.
I'm running Zotero 5.0.96 with LibreOffice 7.1.1 on Arch 5.11.4.
I submitted a log with id D704963200.
This could be an LO issue but I'm not sure how to go about debugging it. The one factor that makes me think this may be the case is that when I close the large document, Zotero responds faster in the smaller ones.

dstillman@adomasven will need to take a look.Yeah, that's not great.

adomasvenThe Linux LibreOffice and Zotero integration is perhaps the fastest one out of all the possible combinations, so this is something very specific to your configuration. I don't have many ideas here since we've never had to troubleshoot this kind of slowness. I suggest testing with different versions of LibreOffice and Java. You'll have to change the active JRE in LibreOffice via Options -> Advanced.

j3freaInteresting. I had wondered if it could be the jre but I'm using openjdk. Are there known issues with openjdk? I'll try Oracle and let report back...
