Zotero doesn’t produce its own text to speech engine, but it is compatible with major text to speech/screen reader software, such as JAWS. See here for a discussion of recent improvements in Zotero’s

It would be up to plugins to override built-in shortcuts if they wanted to. These shortcuts were added for accessibility.

Hello, thank you very much for your improvements in accessibility. I haven't had the chance of trying the citations editor yet, but I have a couple of general comments on the zotero app for windows.

I agree that this may be considered an accessibility issue.

@martynas_b Adobe Acrobat has an option "Replace Document Colors" in Preferences - Accessibility. This option can set only the background and the text color, without changing images in the document.

Thanks to [the recent improvement](https://github.com/zotero/zotero/pull/3464), I can now access the Quick Format Citation by using screen reader.
