What version of Java are you running? Can you try updating that? Make sure you change which version LibreOffice uses in LibreOffice Tools -> Options -> Advanced. If that doesn't help, see Troubleshoot

Copying and pasting citations in LibreOffice (when citing as Reference marks in an .odt document) unlinks the newly pasted citations. This is a limitation of LibreOffice.
